G-Dep Confesses to Involvement in 1993 Murder (Video)

G-Dep sent shock waves through out the industry towards the end of 2010 when he confessed to a murder dating back to 1993. The former Bad Boy rapper was 18-years-old at the time in what’s being called a botched robbery. While news of the confession released back in December 2010, only now have local authorities released footage of the chilling interrogation where G-Dep admits to shooting a man but not the murder victim he’s currently on trial for.

he’s a classic sociopath. anti-social personality disorder. sad. horrible. extreme poverty breeds predation, and greed but strangely so does extreme wealth.

Having someone’s death on your conscious eats away at your soul. People who take that with them to grave live a horrible life of self torture and conflict (unless youre a sick individual). sociopaths would never admit to murder J williams has no clue what hes talking about. only thing he said I agree with is he looked psychologically exhausted in the video Like the weight dragged him through depths of self hatred. Poverty also breeds ingenuity, creativeness and character@ J william. Don’t let statistics lead you to stereotypes, this is just an example of a wrong choice made by a person that ate away at him.

AG you are usually on point….are you saying that poverty does not breed predation, and greed? Do you think a middle class G-Dep would have been on Park Place with a bike and gun? Its sad that so many black kids have to live in poverty because a high percentage (just using my hood) of them get stuck in the cycle. I try my best to get across to the youth here in DC at the numerous detention centers (I teach them computers); most if not all are poor. Coincidence? Probably not……

and i do know what i’m talking about. steve jobs was a full-on sociopath, possibly psychopath. you think he gave a shit about those chinese slaves making iphones? or the african slaves mining minerals for his smart phones? fuck no!
sociopaths do have a conscience, and they don’t always act out violently or commit crimes. all sociopaths aren’t criminals; however, what is true is that most criminals are sociopaths– with a small % being psychopathic serial killers (very rare).
sociopaths know the difference between right and wrong, but they will take advantage anyway. whereas, a psychopath doesn’t subscribe to “normal” human behavior or social norms. they have a compulsive need to act on whatever gives them pleasure. right or wrong never factors into their equation.

Would he still be “just a kid” if that was your father he killed. I reserve “just a kid” to stuff like cutting class or stealing a soda. You aren’t just a kid when you murder somebody….you are just a murderer. “Kids” don’t kill people; unless they have some of the characteristics jwilliams described above…….

kids can be sociopaths, sir. sociopaths commit crimes, and they prey on people. in fact, most of the people in prison are sociopaths. now that isn’t to say that sociopaths can’t be productive members of society because they can. Ever hear of wallstreet or congress? most c.e.o’s are either sociopaths or psychopaths. be lucky that gdep is not a psychopath lest he’d probably have zero conscience at all.
either way, i don’t care what age a person is when they commit crimes. they shouldn’t be committing crimes! neither i or nor anyone else should have to get shot because some idiot had a child they never had any intention of providing for. that’s stupid. now, we could debate the societal factors which promote the horrible conditions in which many underprivileged people live, but we can’t look passed or gloss over reality! a man’s life was taken!
are the movers and shakers of this country full of hypocrisy when it comes to the lives of poor, and middle-class americans? absolutely. will life ever be fair? no it won’t.
i empathize with poor people, but what can honestly be done, especially for the black poor (i am black mind you)? jobs will never be put into their communities, and many don’t have the educational or emotional foundation to escape the labyrinth that is the inner-city. and those who have managed to escape and make it big in rap music have done some good to raise up others, but their entire empire is mostly built on glorifying and perpetuating the ignorant, predatory world they just left.
of course, rap alone does not create the gangs, violence, or depress the inner-city economy, but it does feed off of it.
there’s just so much suffering in our poor communities. it’s so disheartening. however, gdep did the right thing by turning himself in. not many people could have done that.

sociopaths don’t feel guilt. Period. Socio-economics play a factor in crime yes, but murder doesn’t. People get killed everyday from all walks of life; it isn’t because of where they are from or their social status but because its a personal choice they made. Hold individuals responsible not society. I see where all you guys re coming from but you’re trying to put murder in a box and categorize the reasons for it. It’s never that simple.

When I was 18 & broke I didn’t go around killing ppl or robbing them even so stop making light of the fact that this dude took somebodies life & yeah good for him that he turned himself in but the family is still without there loved one cuz this dude was greedy & wanted money the quick & easy way so he grabbed a gun and went on the prowl so it could’ve been anyone he saw at that moment. Stop giving him a pass cuz we was famous.

Who ever said it was alright? Who is trying to excuse death? Not me.. Its not okay to kill someone if you’re broke and hungry and its not okay to kill someone if they are walking through your neighborhood with a hoody on and it scares you..
And who ever mentioned his fame? I think you’re retreating into the land of crazyville and spiitting up all that silly shit you were raised or sorry pre-programmed to think and losing sight of what anyone is saying? So why dont you share with the class how you really feel?
Dude diid something really stupid, should be punished for it, it has ate him alive for almost 20yrs, HE TURNED HIMSELF IN, and now he’s just another black celeb trying to use his fame to get a pass for murder? Yeah, how ofter does that happen? Whats the deal with George Zimmerman? It was okay what he did right?

John – I really wouldn’t say it’s stupid. Check out what is said about sociopaths:
A sociopath is often well liked because of their charm and high charisma, but they do not usually care about other people. They think mainly of themselves and often blame others for the things that they do. They have a complete disregard for rules and lie constantly. They seldom feel guilt or learn from punishments.
He killed a person in cold blood. If what was said is true G-Dep lived with that murder for more than a decade. If he wasnt a flop he would probably still be distracted enough to ignore the crime.
He could definately be a (or was) a sociopath.
I will say that he was a product of his environment. At the end of the day, the blame started with his parents……..

He could definately be a (or was) a sociopath. <—- I cannot believe you just said that. He WAS a sociopath!!! What, he got bored with it and got on to the next thing is it?? I cannot believe I am reading comments like this. Dude, I don't want to offend you but you seriously need to find out more about this subject because it will prevent you from making such ridiculous statements in future.

Ya’ll the same ppl who love to hear niggas talk bout head bussin’ in they raps, dance to it like its a native drum chant and visualize yourself as the gunslinger in the lyrical narrative. But when shit gets real you wanna take your mask and gloves off and psycho analyze shit. FOH…..dude caught that body he was a Dust head that couldn’t handle the guilt and now he’s fucked. And FYI the day you decide you wanna play with guns is the day you give up your ‘just a kid’ status.

You just described sociopaths……they would “rather” fantasize than actually do it. I don’t think people on this forum fantasize about being a murderer……if they do they arent screwed tight…..

It’s hard to believe that you can make such wildly incorrect statements about sociopaths when you obviously have access to the internet. I feel no pity for people who have access to knowledge yet choose to remain ignorant

Thats ironic……the internet helps introduce facts so one can avoid ignorance……its a lot better than people like you who just criticize without any feedback. Making broad generalizations just speaks to your level of intelligence.
