They have appeared together on singles by DJ Khaled and YMCMB’s Rich Gang, now Future and Nicki Minaj return with a record of their own titled “Rockstar.” On Tuesday evening, Future hosted a private listening session for his sophomore album Honest, before it arrives on April 22. A select few of industry writers were played songs off the album including The Runners-produced intro which features Santigold and DJ Khaled, and the next single “I Won” with Kanye West.

In a giving mood, Future proceeded to play the fast-paced “Rockstar” with Nicki Minaj. According to the Atlanta rapper, the song which samples George Michael’s “Never Gonna Dance” would not get cleared by the British singer. Telling those in attendance to record the song on their phones and leak it themselves, Future hinted the song may eventually be released to the masses in the near future.
