Future is in the record books, accomplishing an incredible feat on the Billboard charts. The Atlanta rapper/singer’s latest album HNDRXX debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It comes a week after his self-titled LP also took top spot on the album charts, making Future the first-ever musician in Billboard’s 61-year history to score back-to-back No. 1 albums in consecutive weeks.

Continue after the jump…..

HNDRXX moved 121,000 equivalent album units opening week, with 48,000 in traditional album sales and 74,000 in streams according to Nielsen Music. A more R&B based project, HNDRXX becomes Future’s fifth No. 1 album following Evol (2016), What a Time to Be Alive with Drake (2015), DS2 (2015) and last week’s Future.

The 33-year-old is only the ninth act to have Nos. 1 and 2 at the same time since 1963, and is the first rap artist to have both the Nos. 1 and 2 albums simultaneously since Nelly’s Suit and Sweat held the top two spots respectively in October 2014.

The Freebandz CEO will embark on “The Nobody Safe” tour with Migos, Tory Lanez, Kodak Black, Young Thug and A$AP Ferg, starting May 4 in Memphis.
