Future Debuts at #9 on MTV’s ‘Hottest MCs in the Game’ List

He sings and kind of raps. Atlanta’s newest sensation lands at No. 9 on MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game” list after a breakout 2012 following the release of his 2011 debut album, Pluto. Everyone’s favorite go-to crooner had three successful singles in “Tony Montana,” “Same Damn Time,” and his radio smash “Turn on the Lights.” He also co-starred on some of our favorite songs from Ace Hood, DJ Drama, Rihanna, and more recently, Lil’ Wayne’s Billboard-hit “Love Me” with Drake.
His Future Hendrix sophomore album is slated to arrive later this year with heavyweight collaborations with Kanye West, Diplo, Rihanna, and more. He sings off-key, and hardly raps, does he define a MC?
Watch the roundtable make their case for Future below….

remember Hip-Hop heads this is “MTV’s” top 10 MC’s in the game and MTV stands for Music TeleVision so if you don’t have music on “their” television your not “hot”.
Here’s MY list (remember we are talking about M.C’s)
1. NAS (Life Is Good)
2. KENDRICK LAMAR (Good Kid, M.A.A.D city)
3. Lupe Fiasco (Food and Liquor 2)
4. JOEY BADA$$ (1999 mixtape)
5. FABOLOUS (The S.O.U.L Tape 2)
6. MEEK MILL (Dream Chasers 2, Dream and Nightmares)
7. Styles P (The Worlds Most Hardest MC Project)
8. 50 CENT (5 Murder By Numbers)
9. Jadakiss (Consignment mixtape)
10. Lloyd Banks (V6 mixtape)
Agree or argue amongst yourselves.
Matter of fact make your own list…YOU the listener defines the culture not MTV.
PEACE
