He sings and kind of raps. Atlanta’s newest sensation lands at No. 9 on MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game” list after a breakout 2012 following the release of his 2011 debut album, Pluto. Everyone’s favorite go-to crooner had three successful singles in “Tony Montana,” “Same Damn Time,” and his radio smash “Turn on the Lights.” He also co-starred on some of our favorite songs from Ace Hood, DJ Drama, Rihanna, and more recently, Lil’ Wayne’s Billboard-hit “Love Me” with Drake.

His Future Hendrix sophomore album is slated to arrive later this year with heavyweight collaborations with Kanye West, Diplo, Rihanna, and more. He sings off-key, and hardly raps, does he define a MC?
