French is the rare rapper that is not particularly talented, but his drive, focus, knowing this fanbase and having a peculiar style makes him listenable and likable. Plus, having the right alliances do not hurt. He has creative a Brand a la Dipset, not as strong, but it’s too early too tell.

Production is hot. The fact that French picked samples from Utada Hikaru, Florence and the Machine, and killing ” state of mind” with the Billy Joel Hook, really showed his “strong” side. There are some hot bars in there like “When you ball everybody wanna a part nigga, but even your shadow leave you in the dark nigga” or “I got 40 niggas ready to shoot, call them 49′ers”. None the less, This mixtape is hard. If you’re listening to this mixtape looking for some lyrical bars that’ll blow your mind, dont bother listening. This is the type of music you listen to when you are trying to get your drinking/blazing/chilling on.
