Freddie Gibbs and Madib have announced the news we’ve all been waiting to hear: they’re working on a new album. During his Red Bull Music Academy talk in NYC over the weekend, Madlib let the cat out of the bag that he and Gangsta Gibbs are planning a sequel to 2014’s critically acclaimed Piñata, appropriately titled Bandana.

While there’s no release date in mind just yet, Madlib did say that many of the beats he submitted for Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo have been snapped up by Gibbs. If his “No More Parties In LA” flip, “Cocaine Parties In LA,” is anything to go by, we might just have another coke rap classic on our hands here.
