(tucks puts jammy away)smh ya man got punked by Chris browns goons how dare you mention my name on post you cupcakes.
R&B is bigger than Ocean you hear me!
there is no such thing as new jack swing or neo soul its all R&B
The minute you wanna be bigger, or more than you instantly become less than. The only box you get put in is self imposed one when you make that statement. The box is labeled DUMBASS!! The sooner you jeggins rocking poop butts figure that out the better.
Any questions?
Cool now go back to humming drake bars and remixing black eye peas records.(silly rabbit)

Dude is dope.. The music is dope.. And it’s good to hear him being much more introspective in an interview.. He might be getting bit by bit more comfortable with the industry..
The music should get even better with the understanding of what his lane is.. Multicultural RnB is on lock with Frank and The Weeknd.. Add most of the acts in the chillwave movement Toro Y Moi being the front runner in that (To me anyway).. And we have alot to look forward to in music..

amazing, research his music please.
open-less opinions are invalid.
he’s accomplished so much beyond his years!
he’s also a composer.
100+ songs already, glad you made it!

No, not a hater but I do tend to get annoyed by people who crown themselves great without a catalog to back it up.
I’m sorry this reads like a dude who gives himself a nick name, it’s lame and the people who follow and gobble it up as awesome are just as culpable for lying to this dude.

No Jay-z has a catalog, Madonna has a catalog. What he has is a few joints on mixtapes and producer and writing credits on established artist LP’s SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…………………..silence because when you speak you only show ignorance

That was a really nice interview. Frank Ocean will be around for a while. Haters will deal and stay irate!
Thanks miss info for the interview.

I love this man. He really knows how to tell a story and he hasn’t disappointed me yet. Seeing him live was everything I expected and more. Call me a dick rider, but Frank is one of those artists that makes everyone feel some kinda way. He kills it effortlessly. I hope the industry doesn’t get to him because most of his fans like that mysterious emo not-so-celeb appeal about him. I wish him the best.

I saw the London show. Right at the front at a small venue!
First thing he said was “this is intimate”
He shook my hand during novocane!
What an inspirational guy!

I couldn’t put a genre on this guy, just his music is inspiring, i wanted to go see the show but by the time i noticed it was sold out and tickets costed £100 when they tried re selling them on, does any boy know if he will be in the OFWGKTA tour in the uk next year?
all in all he’s a very talented singer, have listening to him for months now still haven’t got bored, wish he doesn’t become mainstream thou!

Think of the mainstream singers now, when they release a song people over play them for weeks and gets boring. Then you get fed up of listening to that singer, so that’s why i don’t won’t frank to go mainstream:)

Mustafa…you are aware that R&B *really* began because of the need to distinguish the “race music” of black rock n roll artist from that of white rock n roll artist. A few decades later and it became a pretty predictable and sheeit, somewhat ghettoized genre. Look up “ghetto” to understand what I mean.
Artist, black artist in particular, are tired of being lumped into hip-hop / R&B. I can easily see an artist like Frank O venturing into ambient, electronic a whole range of genres.

@mustafa sit your ass down! He’s obviously sparked some interest from u for u to 1) have checked this post out and 2) for u to respond to EVERY comment that others have in response to your ignorance.
I don’t get that…. If you don’t like an artist, why try so hard to put the person down? I can understand doing so in conversation maybe, but to actively spend time searching for an article then spending time typing mean, ignorant things…what’s the point??
Anyway, Frank is dope, “Nostalgia…” was dope and can’t wait for his debut LP!
