Ever since Nostalgia Ultra Ive mainly been disappointed by dude.
Trying too hard to be different. Trying to hit the high notes when really thats not where he’s good at. Have you guys seen him live? Someone in his camp should let him know the truth.
Channel Orange has a few good songs.. other than that it’s boredom ride. Seriously
Now he comes with these weak ass bars.. C’mon Son!
And I listen to his music even before Nostalgia Ultra.

seriously man, dude just kinda fell off.
Like you, I’m not ‘hating’ on his mainstream success. I definitely would love for songs like “We All Try”, “Swim Good” and “Strawberry Swing” to go mainstream. It’s about time we had a down-to-earth, melodic, lyrical singer.
But his shit has just become weak. I’m hoping it’s a spell and then he’ll get back to what made him really interesting/breath of fresh air in the first place.
I worry about the same shit for ASAP Rocky. Dude released a phenomenal tape without any features outside of his camp.
He can’t dilute his sound by working with random feature-whores who are just looking to latch onto the next guy with buzz.

Are you all out of your minds?! ChannelORANGE does not follow many mainstream norms, the biggest being that it is well written and performed with passion.
