If there isn’t enough drama on-screen in Love & Hip Hop: New York, there sure is off it. Tensions between co-stars Joe Budden and Consequence apparently escalated moments ago at the show’s reunion as, according to a tweet which just set the Twittersphere ablaze, Cons “smacked The S**T” out of Budden. Less than half an hour later, Joey gave his own version of events, tweeting that Cons sucker punched him and then ran as Tahiry snuffed him. He called it “the most pu**y display ever seen from a ni**a to be quite honest.”

The tweets below are all we have to go off right now, but we’ll update you if any footage surfaces.

UPDATE: Joe called Angie Martinez to address the incident.

UPDATE #2: Funk Flex posted a picture from the scene.

And here’s their less violent confrontation last month:

Audio: Joe Budden on The Angie Martinez Show

Here’s a cheat sheet of what Joe said during the call:

I’m in a room with security standing outside the door.

It was a break and I grabbed Tahiry to smoke a cigarette, someone runs behind me to hit me in the back of the head.

He hit me while I was walking away, Tahiry hit him, then eight security guards came to get at me.

I honestly thought it was a woman doing it.

This is from the Hot 97 interview when I came up there.

Tahiry was directly next to me, she turned around and hit him.

VH1 cameras don’t ever stop rolling.

This is the first time I’m seeing him since then.

He’s the toughest guy right now at the reunion because it’s clouded by security.

This will be dealt with correctly before the end of the day.
