my thing is this. Fat Joe only sold 46,000 copies and he say he made a profit. But what about all those artists and a-list producers he has on there? They have to be paid and im sure they are not cheap.So there goes his little profit right there. Besides his comebacks are not funny at all. Not sure who will read this but if you are reading this then you are a person that likes to see what the community really has to so say. I think that this whole thing is really geting boring I mean one might say that its a weak attempt to get a buz about themselves in a time that is almost dried up for artist to really get a chance to make money on the album sales. I said it before the masses are geting smarter. The average consumer is actually smarter than the average rapper (so sad). I think that this is going to end before it really doesn’t get anywhere.
As per Fat Joe… He actually had the balls to say in that little video that it will only get better from there… Facts albums get worse as weeks go on and if in week one you only do 50K (gift numbers) then what do you think you will do in week 2 and 3. I know he can’t be in the black with all the money he had to spend on that album and video and everything that comes with putting that album to market. I say Joe take that money he has made and bet another line of income becuase I don’t see his Rap Career geting any better if he keeps on this road. I mean 50 can actually quit and still be more relavent to Rap then Joe would. Its like Fat Joe won’t go quitly and all it will do is make his fall that much harder. I mean don’t get me wrong Joe MADE GOOD MUSIC BUT HE CHANGED TRIED TO CONFORM TO WHAT HE SAW OTHERS DOING AND ITS SAD BECUASE THE REAL PEOPLE IN HIP HOP ALWAYS SETS THE TRENDS NOT FOLLOW IT AND HOPE TO GET A BIT OF THAT MONEY..
