$ 125k is life changing money. Thats a deposit on a house, start up money for any Big Pun type business be it to hire lawyers to chase after royalties or to invest in a business.
Liza mishandles money, if she says she doesn’t want hand out and she can survivie how did she end up in a homeless shelter?
The fact that she’s gone public means she allows public scrutiny over her finances and she’s not winning this debate. Plus i’m sure Fat Joe is now reluctant to he;p because he’s been attacked publicly, and i know Mrs Fat Joe and her kids are not pleased with this.
She still hasn’t explained what she’s been doing over the past 10yrs financially.
Even if she gets a few hundred grand now? What is she going to do in 10 yrs time? She needs to pursue a career because she’s letting Pun’s legacy down, herself and her kids down. It’s really sad.

The very least she deserves for supporting Pun and raising his kids, all while taking his abuse, is a cut of whatever he is still selling. Everybody needs to stop with the math and just realize that his family, who was with him until the end, should end up with something. She does need to get some legal and economic counseling though because this is a bit more serious than Hot 97.
Also the whole ‘Liza tarnishing Pun’s legacy’ thing needs to stop. Watch the ‘Still Not A Player’ DVD. It’s a lot deeper than “let’s treat him like a legend or scorn him as a wifebeater”.

Everyone needs to add up the money that she just admitted to receiving, $125,000 for endangered species, $116,000 from Jelly Bean, $75,000 EACH for Remy and Tony and $15,000 from a check that magically appeared. That is $406,000!!! That is hundreds of thousands of dollars. What did she do with the money? And its true, if she did have a case she would’ve took it to court a long time ago with the “best lawyer in the world”. This is nonsense, she’s looking for sympathy and a handout. She still has not said where $150K in 5 years went. The fact of the matter is she blew it on BS. I totally side with Joe. That’s roughly $30K/year for someone with no job. If she got a job she’d be in good shape. If she took that money and opened a salon she’d be in good shape. She wants to drag Pun’s name through shit and get paid like a doting wife.

It’s a crazy situation. It’s hard to believe whose is right or wrong. Most people need to consider that the money she’s received was more than likely spent on bills: mortgage (I’m sure they had a decent crib somewhere in the hills of New Jersey), food, clothes for the kids, utility expenses etc etc…
My question is if Pun made all the millions where did it all go to? Where the vehicle’s not paid for? Jewelry? Etc…At the end of the day there are mad questions. Joe could be just as shady as these exec’s in the industry. You never know behind closed doors. Same could be said about Liza. It is what it is.
I feel for Pun’s kid’s. Not only did they loose their father, but to know he was one of the best lyrisit in the game. It’s a sad story.
Regardless his legacy will always live on. He is the first Latin rapper to ever go platinum. Viva Puerto RIcooooo!

I believe Joe. The truth is Pun probably had a terrible contract in which he didn’t own any publishing. Therefore,Pun’s estate isnt supposed to receive any proceeds from record sales.
It’s been a decade, and this chick hired lawyers and still hasn’t even seen Pun’s recording contract. If she did see it, she would know she probably has no right to complain.

When i hear what this chick went through in 5+years and I live paycheck to paycheck as do many others I know with kids that make nowhere near a fraction of that all I can do is shake my head. She obviously thought she could live off of Pun’s name forever and when she realized that wasn’t gonna happen she put out all their dirty laundry. I don’t know which way to go on this one. As stated many of times by others, almost none of the members from TS have anything good to say about fat joes business side. On the other hand I think that Liza might just be a bird. I think that when she got her hands on that money she didn’t know how to manage it. She got money and lost sight of what was important: the kids. That money wasn’t a lot, however she probably tried to live this glam life and went above her means. I think it isn’t about helping out initially, which I believe Joe did but how long are you supposed to do so after the fact. Joe put Pun on, regardless of what Pun ghostwrote or whatever legacy he accumalated, it takes time to acquire money from shows and touring the world and Pun wasn’t around long enough to benefit , simple fact. Off publishing and contracts I believe no rapper besides a Jay Z or 50 makes the majority of their money from, it takes grinding and Pun ain’t around to do that.

When did it become another person’s responsibility to take care of your kids? Regardless if she’s owed this or that, she should have done whatever she had to do to keep her kids fed and sheltered. The issues she has with Joe isn’t want she should be focused on. You deal with that when you have the time and means. First things first is solidify your home and your kids. I agree, we all make mistakes. I don’t understand how Joe is responsible for them being in a shelter though. Did she just hit a bad patch and decided to go back on the campaign against Joe? If she is not getting the royalties and other money that may be due her that is one thing, but sitting around blaming him for her being in a shelter is another. I know a lot of single moms wish they had a $160K head start when they found themselves on their own.

ppl don’t know anything about estates! when u die all debts u had are left if u had mortgage thats a debt when u went to the hospital to die or EMS coming u have to pay that! she had to pay off his bills and make sure they were taking care of! we had to put my fathers house in forclosure bc none of us (me and my siblings) could take care of it!

so i heard the clip and read the blurb and i still feel no different for what i’ve said, and even if it is found out that someone is stealing or joe is crooked or whatever. it doesn’t matter if she’s female. she should be able to stand on her own. what’s her money coming in??????? that’s what she should be talking about. cause if they got no money for you, whether they screwing you, what are you gonna do about the present and the future liza? you have a plan? you know book deals and reality tv is real popular nowadays. try to get your story sold.

my parents have raised me and my bros for more than 10 years and they never ever ever had any money. no where near 150 seperately or combined and not even working multiple hours 24 hours 7 days of the week for a long long long time even now. you know people keep slinging those numbers out and saying well she had x and x expenses and whatever. to some people THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY. to me it is. to someone living below 1 dollar a day somewhere it is. i’m sorry if we’re not exactly in your situation, but we understand family, debt, business, life and all your circumstances. it’s always nice to have an excuse. like i’m not even thinking about the money missing. what pisses me off is this women and her words. get a job. do what everyone else does. i’m sorry we not all celebrities, and i’m sorry you’re such a CELEBRITY liza…what did you ever do to get noteriaty. lol. be a wife. wowwwwwwwwwww. why you think men be calling women all types of names under the son nowadays. because people are getting smarter. you can be married but you still have to mind your own. and that’s the bottom line. she’s failing. she can always bring herself back up. she needs to work another avenue.

its a shame real awful if there in a shelter, awful if there not. liza has to ask others for money this should let u n o something is up. she might have missed managed her money but others might have done the same. we all no how crazy the music industry can be when it comes to paying up,when folks are alive. much less when they have passed. as for joe he can talk all that rah rah about hes my bro this that and the third. but u paid up once and left the family to go to shit. there not ur own but the way you talk about them u should at least check for the kids. f the mum if thats how u feel. but dont leave the kids out . its no joke to be isolated from a life u no as a child. joes an annoying joke. talks in his big sweaty ass. lol. p.s he should lean all the way back on the domestic violence kick. he would not want a man bust him in his mouth with a gun. i do believe that might hurt to death.
