Fat Joe disputes Wisconsin woman’s sexual assault claim

On Monday, TMZ and other outlets reported that Fat Joe and his traveling party were detained by police in Madison, Wisconsin because a 33-year-old woman claimed that she got into a limo with Joe and crew after a local show and was “inappropriately touched.” But after questioning Fat Joe and his crew, the police did not arrest anyone, and no charges have been filed….making the woman’s claim quite suspect. Today, Joe’s lawyer Dawn Florio released this statement:
Rapper Joseph Cartagena, known as Fat Joe, members of his entourage and security staff were briefly questioned by members of the Madison, Wisconsin Police Department who were investigating false allegations made by a woman who initially posed as a fan and later claimed to be the victim of an assault after demanding money.
At no point did Mr. Cartagena or any member of his entourage assault or have any improper contact with the woman. It is truly unfortunate that false allegations such as these cause the public to doubt the claims of actual victims of sexual assaults.

This is not the first we have heard of such incidents with Hip hop artist and all the excuses that follow. We all do not know exactly what took place in the stated inciddent, but one that thing could have been control is the prevention of event ever taking place in the female being in the limo in the first place.

Anything TO GET MONEY..I have met and chilled with Fat Joe and his crew and feel they all treated my friends and I with Respect. BUT it depends on how a female carries herself..if you act like a hoe you get treated like one! Shouldnt be mad after cause they didn’t wife u up! lol

ATTENTION ALL LADIES: If you accept invitations to events from men you don’t quite know you are making a big mistake, even if they are in the public eye.
Men don’t offer Limo rides to chicks they hardly know for no reason than the obvious, if the attraction is 1 way, these type of affairs occur, not saying Fat Joe is guilty. I honestly think its a member of Fat Joe’s entourage who is responsible if the alleged incident occurred.
To the men don’t disrespect females by groping them. Just go to the strip club if you have to especially if you have a Mrs.
