Our extended family over at FreeOnSMASH recently debuted their new “Tale Of The Tape” series. Following Joe Budden, the next artist to be featured was none other than Fabolous. Leading up the the release of The S.O.U.L. Tape 2, RellyOnSMASH sat down with the Brooklyn MC on Tuesday night to discuss various topics. On the music side, Loso reveals appearances on his Thanksgiving Day mixtape include J. Cole, Wale, Joe Budden, and Troy Ave, with the possibility of more late additions. He also touches on the production, the reason for going in a soulful direction with his new mixtape series, and explains what separates it from his There Is No Competition Gangsta Grillz collection.

After addressing the “So NY” controversy and being relevant in the industry for 14-years, the two get into more light-hearted conversation. Such as, the location of his throwback jersey collection, the “thirst” phenomenon with groupies, and the fear of using DM’s on Twitter.

Fabolous’ The S.O.U.L. Tape 2 arrives tomorrow at 9 p.m. EST on LiveMixtapes.com. Listen to the first release “For the Love” here.
