Exclusive: Malice “Furnace of Affliction” (Excerpt 3)
Posted by Mikey Fresh under videos[16] Comments
This is pretty deep. The middle child of the Thorntons explains how Furnace of Affliction, as stated in the bible, affected his and his older brother’s life.
“What a lot of yall don’t know is that we have an older brother, and he’s had kind of a rough life. He’s had bouts with drug addiction, alcoholism, and child support riding his back. On top of that he’s in his own Furnace of Affliction. “

“if you don’t believe in God, then you just have no hope”
is that a shot at non-believers? or just part of the quoted passage.
Anyway, I’m a proud nonbeliever. Too bad Malice got caught up with this religious spam.
The sooner black people stop bible-thumping a religion that wasn’t ours to begin with, and used to justified our slavery, the smarter we’ll become.

Why are people constantly surprised Malice is religious? Have people listened to his verses? First album was called Lord Willin’ with Jesus on the cover.
I agree with you though. And ditto with black people turning to Islam as our ‘true’ religion.

I googled “Furnace of Affliction” to get a real idea on what it’s about & it’s pretty deep. But like Truf.com says it does kinda get greazy on the so- called “non-believers” which is the problem with religion now. That attitude of “If your not with us your basically shit & your gonna die a horrible death…” turns a lot of people off. Just believe what you want, have a good heart, (& don’t be pissin people off) & you should be fine.

that’s what I’m saying!
If he just said his religious piece without taking shots, I wouldn’t have said shit. What a man believes is totally up to him. I may not agree, but I respect that.
But when you start taking shots at non-believers (who didn’t fire any at you), then it’s like I gotta speak up.

The original intention of Christianity was not used to justify slavery!
P.S.
Isn’t it like your burning yourself when you smoke….weed, cigarettes…etc?

The more non believers speak up, the better. Shouldn’t be vilified for not believing
Its not what you beleive but how you behave

Looking at the comments I wondered if you are such a content non-believer why would you be upset by the comments of someone who chooses to believe? I came to the conclusion that you must be convicted with the truth that is right in front of you and that’s whats bothering you. I understand that you may have been hurt in life I have but Yahweh’s love is supreme one thing that all faiths agree upon is that the creator is and always has been LOVE/AGAPE LOVE to be exact so if you don’t respect that your whole perspective is jacked, PEACE and May Yahweh Bless! with peace and understanding
