Exclusive: Joe Budden’s new clubbanger “Touch and Go”
Posted by Miss Info under album preview , good for hip hop , good for me , new music[42] Comments
Heard a couple songs off Joey’s new album the other night, and was happy to see that along with this one sick no-hook rhymathon where Joe takes listeners thru a dream/nightmare sequence….he’s embracing his versatility, with a club banger, and the couple girl-friendly r&b melodies too : ) This first single “Touch and Go,” is the former, an East Coast uptempo (Jersey house-ish) song, in the same “Pump it Up” vein.
PS: Shout to all the nahright-wing that stopped by, at the behest of Eskay.

The song doesn’t grab me on the first listen. Maybe after hearing it more. Joe has always been sick with his word play though.

I’m a diehard Joey stan, and while I like that, conceptually and lyrically, his club tracks are better than 99% of every other club track out there, I still prefer his deeper stuff.
Still tho’, I’m copping “Padded Room” the second it hits the shelves.

My stomach starts to turn when I hear about rappers that I do like attempting to crossover aka not being themselves.
Especially after the jive/papoose bebacle that the single bang it out ft. Snoop dogg was.
But I’ll give jump off the benefit of the doubt and still cop his new ish because he’s doing this at his own free will, plus I was highly impressed with his mood music series.
it was like a breath of fresh air after breathing in the stinch of GARBAGE for the past 5 to 10 years.
P.s. I hang out in jerz a lot,and joe deserves his nickname,LoL!
And this is proof of missinfo being sooo much better than that bum reckless at sohh.
Look at the exclusives she hits us with, then go over to sohh.com and get a laugh out of the “exclusives” reckless is hittin you with.
Krs 1,some bums named cory gunz,tyme Qware,AC,etc…

I thought the first JB album was pretty underrated, I had it on non-stop when I got it. For my tastes it was a pretty banging combination of club anthems and hoodtrospective insights. Pump it up was massive over here, this just feels a little too cookie cutter to have the same impact. I can see it getting some play in the alternative clubs cause of the hook and the hiphouse tempo. Keep filling up my iTunes with newness miss info

Not that this sounds that wack but it does sound like a left-over from his 2004 Def Jam album. I mean, c’mon, is he for real with this four years later?
