Eve has come a long way since her days as platinum blond Ruff Ryderette. The now 34-year-old brunette stopped by Hot 97 yesterday to talk about her new life in London, getting boo’ed up with a wealthy Englishman, and her upcoming album. Her current relationship with Maximillion Cooper, a business mogul and founder of the Gumball 3000 brand, became a hot topic during the interview. Although Eve admits that dating a white dude is “weird” for her, she wants people to stop making a big deal out of interracial love. “What year is it? Like stop,” she said.

The interview eventually veered to her past relationship with Stevie J, a subject recently revisited by the media when he gained reality infamy on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. E-v-e says she wasn’t surprised to hear about his, um, subpar behavior on the show, but her mom then-after texted her to tell her “you dodged a bullet with that one.”
