Ether? Pusha T’s Full Lil Wayne and Birdman Diss on “Tell Me What They Mad For”
Posted by Mikey Fresh under beef[37] Comments
Yuck! About a month ago, we got wind of Pusha T’s disrespectful verse on an unreleased Ludacris song, “Tell Me What They Mad For.” With only a snippet and some typed out lyrics, the news of P’s venom traveled through the Net within minutes. Recently, I even spoke to Pusha who confirmed that he was definitely talking about Wayne and Baby on the track. Following the hoopla, nothing further happened as the song remained tucked away in email inboxes… until today. Thanks to Tapemasters Inc, the full song was released and the sharp eyes at UHTN were quick to grab it up. As reported, the lyrics are the same and he even goes hard at Birdman.
“stupid muthf*ckin five star tatted on his ceiling, bullseye be the muthaf*ckin target for this killin’.
A link to the song and more of Pusha’s lyrics after the jump…
Listen to the full song at UHTN
With your baby mama f*cking every rapper in the business
N*ggas saying you was better when the drugs was in your system
Now your crack swag gone ever since u came from prison
With your baby mama f*cking every rapper in the business
Niggas saying you was better when the drugs was in your system
Now your crack swag gone ever since u came from prison
Got you tweeting all stupid, is you skatin’, is you dissin’
Found out your ghost leased and your phantom just rented
Won’t leave it in your name like Pac when he went missing
Makaveli lives on so I’m riding on you b*tches”

ummm…the diss is nice, but, uh, what exactly is this about? has pusha ever said what this is really over? is this because lil wayne wore bathing ape? it seems like that is the reason. pusha has been talking shit ever since mr. me too, and that was half a decade ago. wayne has said nothing about this really, as far as i know. what makes pusha so mad at wayne? is it just because wayne is successful? i just dont get it. what is the cause of this beef, that seems to be one-sided?

Its real rap! you are suppose to battle defend what you are claiming on the mic. Not trying to call you out,I just think that the youth now a days don’t know the art of rap. They want to see catchy hooks and weird outfits. Music is suppose to be an expression of art not this commercial crap that has taken over.

Not completely one-sided, Wayne did just recently put out a song where he said “F–k Pusha T and everybody that love him” in response to “Exodus”, which to my ears could be about any number of people, but Wayne took it to be about him, apparently.
Mr. Me Too is the only Pusha-related song that I can see as going at Wayne, up until this one, even though the backpack the guy is wearing in the video made me think that song could’ve been about Kanye too…
Are there any other songs where Pusha seems to be going at Wayne that I missed? New God Flow, perhaps?

Three 6 Mafia never won a Grammy, to my knowledge (did they get one for producing “International Player’s Anthem”? I’m not sure).
Eminem has an Oscar for Lose Yourself and I’m pretty sure he has several Grammies (thirteen, according to his Wiki page).
Will won a Grammy with Jazzy Jeff, but has he ever won an Oscar? I’m pretty sure he hasn’t (nominated twice, never won, according to his Wiki).

I’m not entirely sure how the Oscars work but I am guessing if because Crash won “Best Picture” and it is not for any individual, they all get a plaque or maybe even their own little Oscar trophy for themselves as a part of the work on the movie as a whole.
So everybody, actors, producers, directors, they all get Oscars for it.
It would make sense, Producers get Gold and Platinum plaques when albums sell the necessary units and I imagine they get some plaque if the album wins a Grammy. I am almost sure.

Pusha is desperate to get a buzz and try get rich off mentioning lil Wayne’s name in his music, creating some fake beef as he can’t make a number 1 hot track or album not even with his brothers help !
Sick of this swag-less rappers name dropping constantly to try get a buzz – I swear Pusha T and French Montana should make some music together with 1000 name drops and a billion features – they may, just may have an album that enough people will buy to make them silly rich and relative !! Then they can play on loud lil Wayne’s “a milli” !!!!!

In fact im going to add to my above comment because I know haters are going to start dropping all kinds of mess – bottom line Pusha T will never ever ever do lil Wayne album sales – never – people hate on Wayne but the fact is his Carter’s clean up and he has a solid fan base – Men lie, women lie = numbers don’t !!!

Why does that money argument always rear its ugly head when we talk about beef? True hip-hop heads don’t get caught up in that. We know it’s more than record sales. Especially when it comes to beef…….

What makes records sell tho? Good music. Not knockin’ T any but Wayne makes good music and he has been for years. I feel like PT is hatin. They are good flows an if that’s what u wanna rap about, if that’s what’s on ur mind then do u, rap is expression after all. An yeah Wayne’s gotten a little poppy but it’s still snappin, still good music. An Pusha T makes good music too I’d just rather not hear the diss tracks. Battle rappin is good music I enjoy it but idk…kids r easily I fluenced an rappers go too far with it sometimes I feel like it sends a bad message to the youth. An I kno I sound 57 years old but I’m 26…

Lil Wayne fans can say whatever they want about sales blah blah blah. When it comes to straight rapping Pusha got his card. Wonder why he hasn’t responded guess his Ghost writers haven’t wrote anything worthy to rap yet or he still has found a batch of crack strong enough yet.

Pusha T fans can say what they want – Lil wayne does not need to respond to some dude that can’t move 250 units – say what you want about ghost writing – you are clearly a minority – as a huge amount of people in the mills don’t think that and buy his music ! I have been listening to Wayne and back in the day hotboys for years (amongst a large selection of other rappers) – Wayne has a complete different flow that is completely original so his his ghost writer must have been with him from day dot !! What kind of bs is that ?? If I was Wayne wouldn’t bother – why help this fools album sales ?? His last chance to make it famous – within the next year his album will flop then it’s bye bye Pusha !!

Pusha’s verse was tight, no debating that. If you know rap it was a solid diss verse.
But my thing is, where is this going? Wayne already said he was done with the Pusha T thing but is Pusha T’s only ticket to some attention “dissing Lil Wayne”?
It just seems like Pusha T is desperate for any energy he can feed off of Wayne and I think that ship has kinda sailed already…
If he hit with this verse on a better beat shortly after (the horribly done) Goulish then we would be talking about how Pusha put the nail in Lil Wayne’s coffin but here we are months later….
I appreciate real rap as much as the next man but I am more impressed with Cassidy’s “Me, Myself & iPhone” because he is addressing current things people are saying about him straight up and then he gave Meek Mill some attention on the 3rd verse to top it off. He did that with a concept and absolutely real rap..
I guess that’s not really fair to compare it to because it was Cassidy for 3 verses on his own song.
Maybe that’s what Pusha T needs to do, focus on making his own damn songs with some ill concepts and make his jabs to Wayne/Drake whoever in his verses but create attention FOR YOUR MUSIC not someone else’s.

Comparing Cassidy’s song to Pusha T’s verse is stupid!!! that man had 16 to get it off his chest not 3 verses. Smarting up man for real!!!

I agree with you; Cassidy definitely went in on Meek. How do we know that if Wayne responds Pusha doesn’t have that type of song? Chess not checkers (shrugs shoulders…)

If you would’ve done your homework before posting your comments everyone would’ve known or remembered that garbage of a diss track “Ghoulish” Lil Wayne put out dissing Pusha T. It’s only Real Rap that the man comes back to defend hisself. If Wayne takes the bait he may become a FT skateboarder because his career would be finished!

Pusha’s verse was okay it wasn’t devastating. I know he wasn’t trying to go full force but I actually was expecting better. I hate the beat which is something i can’t ignore on this song. I like the Hook, but luda kinda threw me off. I was expecting something super vicious… I think that one song with subliminals that got a little wayne reaction was better.
