Let's not be ridiculous. People are already killing each other. If someone is unstable enough to kill someone else because "they heard it in a song" then they're a ticking timebomb anyway. You're obviously not that much a concerned citizen if this is what you're focusing your attention on. What eminem is singing about is already real life for many people. He is not responsible for domestic violence, unless it's his fists doing the punching.

I Love The Way You Lie
song by Eminem with Rihanna

...Just gonna stand there, And watch me burn
But that's alright, Because I like The way it hurts
Just gonna stand there, And hear me cry
But that's alright, Because I love The way you lie
I love the way you lie

I love you too much, To walk away though
Come inside, Pick up your bags off the sidewalk
Don't you hear sincerity, In my voice when I talk
Told you this is my fault, Look me in the eyeball
Next time I'm pissed
I'll aim my fist, At the dry wall
Next time, There will be no next time
I apologize, Even though I know it's lies
I'm tired of the games, I just want her back
I know I'm a liar
If she ever tries to f**king leave again
I'mma tie her to the bed
And set the house on fire

These lyrics to the highly-charged Eminem and Rihanna duet are very disturbing.
I'd be very afraid that this powerful song would incite abusers with the idea to
murder their wife or girlfriend if they tried to leave again by setting them
on fire.
I just heard this song yesterday, June 28th. It was very upsetting. And then
today June 29th the very next day, I heard on the radio this story:
http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/los_angeles&id=7526933
about a young woman's charred body found burning on the side of the freeway
in Los Angeles County, a college town called Claremont. If this was a case of
an abuser taking it too far, do you think Eminem and the music execs would feel
any guilt, remorse, desire to pull the song or issue a public apology?

That's one of my favorite songs on the album. Rihanna was perfect for the song and Em killed it as usual.

although i obviously aint heard it yet, i thought kanye wud snatch the album of the year title, but with this eminem album im not so sure now, the lyrics are crazy, and this album definitely has some of his best work on, 25 to life, changes, wont back down, love the way u lie, are jus a few of the joints i would easily say go up against anything hes done. if kanye comes and tops this then good ass job is gonna be a classic. cant wait
