Eminem And Rihanna Perform At The V Festival (Video)

Eminem headlined and closed out Day 1 of the V Festival over in the United Kingdom. During his set, Rihanna (who hit the festival stage earlier in the day) joined him as they performed “Love The Way You Lie” at Stafford’s Weston Park.

I like that Eminem is experimenting with different sounds and sharing his journey of recovery, but for the next album I’d like for him to record ‘club bangers’/joints to bump loud in the whips. Basically, waiting on him to record ‘boom-bap’ records, kinda joints to make my head nod or do a two-step, before I can annoit him anywhere near “King” status or place him in my top 3. Wu, Jay-Z , Krs one, Rakim, Ice Cube, Dre, Biggie, Pac, all got at least one ‘club banger’ in the chambers. Real talk.

one thing I’ve always respected about eminem is his perspective. he usually goes with what hes feeling and the emotions he wants to deliver at the time he felt them. Ive never seen em ride a rap trend. I don;t think you will hear eminem talk about how much money he has or destroy a maybach during a video just cause you can, not that theirs anything wrong with flamboyant rap, I enjoy most of it. I respect his outlook and that’s what gives him appeal.

Sure. I just want him to make at least one fonky record for ass shaking in the clubs or at the summer family BBQs. He hasn’t reached his peak yet, which is a good thing, room to grow musically. For me, if he can achieve recording a soulful dance-rap record/cross over to r&b/get his Teena Marie on, then only then, I can crown him “King of Rap” LOL. Thinking a fonky banger in the same vein as Tupac’s “I Get Around” or Snoop’s “Ain’t No Fun”…
