Westside Gunn and Conway are the newest additions to Shady Records. On Friday (Mar. 3), Eminem announced the two MCs have signed to his label in a deal with the Buffalo, NY-based Griselda Records. Westside Gunn and Conway, who are brothers, become the first artists out of Buffalo to sign a deal with major label distribution. “The style and energy of Griselda Records, Gunn and Conway are infectious. We can’t wait to put them on the platform they have earned and deserve,” said Eminem in a statement.

We’re bringing a new sound to the game, but it’s also reminiscent of the grimey 90’s,” says Griselda founder/artist Westside Gunn. “Art is in everything we do…it’s the essence. We’re fusing boom-bap/dark sounds with the hipster cool kid lifestyle. A new lane is being carved.” The solo artists/duo join a roster at Shady that includes D12, Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, Bad Meets Evil and Joell Ortiz.

Along with the news, Westside Gunn and Conway release a new song under their Hall N’ Nash alias titled “MachineGun Black.” Produced by Just Blaze, stream the gritty track below.
