The powers that be at Casio put some serious moula to get Eminem to play their G-Shock 30th anniversary party in New York City. Last night, Em and Slaughterhouse performed a “secret” show at the Hammerstein Ballroom for nearly 2 hours of non-stop rap action. Royce, Joell, Joe and Crooked got the jam started, and even squeezed in their BET freestyle. Then, it was time for big homie to end things with a flawless victory. Em hit every note and got the kids going crazy. He dug deep into his catalog and brought back classics from the Slim Shady LP. Watching him perform “My Name Is” was pretty entertaining after all these years. Marshall went from album to album touching all the different stages in his career. An amazing night.
