The Marshall Mathers LP 2 isn’t short on its serious moments, but Eminem proves he hasn’t lost that wacky sense of humor and aesthetics in the video to his six-minute lyrical onslaught, “Rap God.” In front of a psychedelic backdrop, Slim Shady plugs into the matrix and transforms into Max Headroom, the AI character from the 80’s sci-fi series of the same name. After all, those lyrical somersaults make Em sound like a damn robot on the mic.
MMLP2 is out now.
