In a recent interview with Noisey, Elzhi opened up about the controversy surrounding his Kickstarter campaign (one fan threatened to sue him for not delivering the crowd-funded album) and his battle with depression that partly caused the delay of the record. “I’ve been away for awhile, and one of the reasons why I’ve been gone is because I’ve been getting chased by this fucking black cloud that I can’t seem to shake,” he said.

Lead Poison is due out March 25.
