Nothing was the same, including the release date, it seems. According to both Hits Daily Double and Best Buy, Drake’s hugely anticipated third album, Nothing Was the Same, will now arrive September 24 — a week later than originally scheduled.

The good news, though: Drake announced on Twitter this morning that he’ll be performing at the MTV VMAs, which will be broacasted live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 25. Expect his first television performance of “Started From the Bottom.” Kanye West, Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake (potentially alongside his old *NSYNC bandmates) are all set to perform, too.
