Drake won big at the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards in Austin, Texas last night. The OVO Sound star took home the “Woodie of the Year,” the award given to the year’s top artist. Drizzy is currently on tour in Europe, but his YMCMB boss Lil Wayne was there to accept his award after making an unannounced performance to open the awards show.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé won the Did It My Way Woodie for her surprise album release, Chance The Rapper scooped the Best Video Woodie for “Everybody’s Something” and A$AP Rocky shared the Best Collaboration Woodie with Skrillex for their joint effort, “Wild For the Night.”

The “2014 mtvU Woodie Awards Special” will air on Sunday March 16 at 8PM ET on MTV, with performances from Childish Gambino, Danny Brown, Iggy Azalea, Steve Aoki and The 1975.
