Mikey: While on set at Drake’s video shoot for his first single “Over”, MTV News got Drizzy to speak about the concept behind his project.
“We talked colors, we talked epic, emotion-evoking visuals,” the 23-year-old Toronto native said of the collaborative “Over” video. “The story is actually interesting. The song is so aggressive, and it’s sort of a love story in the video. It has a lot to do with the album [Thank Me Later]. The album is about finding love, feeling ‘Have I sold my soul’ as far as ‘Will I ever be able to gain the trust of a woman? Will I only be able to be around the dark, evil women? Will I ever find that pure love?’ Those elements are in the video.
Just to catch you guys up to speed, over the weekend Lloyd announced that he has officially signed with Interscope, Lil Tunechi’s Rebirth Album was certified Gold moving over 500k units, 50 Cent revealed that he was already 3 songs deep into his next album, Black Magic while his bodyguard got into a lil trouble for roughing up some paps in Denmark and Rah Digga spoke to XXL about her comeback album,

How overrated is drake ? I really hope that 50 steps his game up for “black magic”, if this album flops he is going to lose all his credibility as a rapper.

“Will I only be able to be around the dark, evil women?”
