The biggest stars from the NBA gathered together on Monday night (Jun. 26) for the first-ever National Basketball Association Awards. Taking place at Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City, the inaugural show was hosted by none other than Drake. Arriving with fan-favorite NBC Sports reporter Rosalyn “Ros” Gold-Onwude as his date, Drizzy showed off his hosting duties with various hilarious moments and monologues throughout the two-hour show broadcasted on NBC.

Highlights included an opening monologue, where the Canadian superstar and actor/comedian Will Ferrell play handshake coaches while cracking jokes at Toronto Raptors All-Star DeMar DeRozen. Drake also showed off his acting chops later in the show, playing Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry in a parody where he tries to celebrate a championship with his teammates but falls under the spell of his wife.

Russell Westbrook (MVP), Draymond Green (Defensive Player of the Year), Mike D’Antoni (Coach of the Year) were the big winners of night, while Nicki Minaj performed a medley with guest 2 Chainz. Watch all the highlights from Drake hosting the 2017 NBA Awards below.
