It has been well-known for years that hip-hop isn’t given its just due by the GRAMMYs. Drake decided to take things into his own hands early Sunday morning with the first-ever “Hood Grammys.” Awarded via his Instagram account, the Toronto rapper gave ‘hood trophies in five categories: Best Vocal Performance of the Year, Best Performance by a Duo or Group, Best All Around Turn Up, Best Latin Club Anthem, and Mixtape of the Year.

Check out the winners for this year’s “Hood Grammys,” awarded by Drake, who won his first Grammy back in 2013 for Best Rap Album (Take Care).

Best Vocal Performance of the Year: Bobby Shmurda (“Hot Ni**a”) – “@bobby_shmurda for Vocal Performance of the Year…we need it.”
