Drake Avoids All Those “Fake Friends” at #MadeInAmerica (Video)

(Who are Drake’s fake friends?)
Day 2 of Jay-Z’s Made In America festival is still coming to a close with Pearl Jam gearing up to finish it out. Earlier today, Rita Ora, Run DMC, Odd Future and more helped keep everyone’s spirits high as the rain poured down on Philly. However, the skies did clear when it was time for Drake to make his highly anticipated performance. He kept the guest surprises minimal with just 2 Chainz and French stepping out to perform “No Lie” and “Pop That.” Still Drake was sharp and definitely pleased the crowd. One thing that did seem to catch people’s attention was his several references to rolling with “real friends over fake friends.” He didn’t seem to hint at anyone particular but made the reference about “real vs fake” a few times. Check out the video clip above.
Update: The debate over Drake’s speech is still drawing talk all over Twitter, but one of our readers points out a great fact.
“I’ve seen SEVERAL of his performances and attended two of his concerts, this is just something he says…and I feel like its usually before crew love…I know for sure he gave this same speech at the “evening with drake” concert in Toronto a couple weeks ago…honestly don’t think he was throwing any shade…” – via “Anon”
Watch Drake bring out 2 Chainz and French Montana after the jump…

U know what? That makes sense though. I’m still tight that he was the only performer that didn’t stream his show. tons of his fans are. IDK what he’s going threw… He just always having issues these days with people. Thats just the game but he always say crap like that these days.

Can we all say…Weezy F Baby. Drake ridin’ with ‘that young money all day’ , ‘Wayne is the best rapper alive’ bullshit when asked. But Wayne cried neutral when asked about the Breezy bottle incident (see MTV ). Wonder if Baby will ever check his ‘son’ on the dumb shit he saying in the press lately…all that ymcb loyalty shit…ha! Keep fuckin wit Jigga, Drake!

Wow Miss Info (*mouth drops open*)
I came here to get info on Rock the Bells (hip-hop) but I don’t see anything other than Jay-Z’s concert (hip-pop) coverage. Jay-Z reuniting D-List has beens & Drake making emotional references was not the biggest thing in Hip-hop happening this weekend! You might as well have changed your site to ThisIsJayZ.tv for the weekend. I can now count you out for coverage on hip hop. You should know better: And I thought you were a Wu-Tang fan?!? SMH.

Rock the Bells is now booking Wiz, Mac Miller and Tyga.Full frivolous rap. weed rap for the under 21 audience, tryna to “expand” their audience. when they had Wu+cube the first times, they were the highlights. Made in America is grown folks rap. Think Rock The Bells is a decade running and changed some…maybe this also a generational thing.

Bitch ass dudes say & do bitch ass things… That beings said Drake is on his own dick at the moment. He could be talking about the Jaz thing, people from Aalliyah’s family, Common, people in his own circle, people who was in that club to something else in his lil mind. Bottom line is now that folks see the bitch in him, he aint poppin like he used to be.
