According to EW, Donald, along with his brother and Atlanta co-creator Stephen Glover, are turning the popular Marvel antihero into an adult animated comedy series for FXX, who Glover signed a production deal with back in January. The network has ordered ten episodes, which are set to premiere in 2018.

“Donald Glover is an incredibly gifted and versatile artist who’ll bring the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool series to life with the same intense, singular vision as his breakout hit Atlanta,” said FX original programming president Nick Grad. “With the success of Legion, we’re looking forward to again partnering with Marvel Television to create a series that is bold, striking and entirely original.”

And now for the bad news: according to EW, Atlanta season two has been pushed back to early 2018.
