Following the big announcement on 106 & Park earlier, the new Bad Boy Records made a stop to Hot 97′s Funkmaster Flex Show this evening. During their chat, Diddy spoke on the new signings, his somewhat negative reputation with past artists, album plans in the new year, and a song premiere courtesy of Red Café.

I look forward to hearing all these guys heavy on the radio for about 9 months followed by a lifetime of never hearing from them again. Seriously, how long are we gonna let Diddy get away with this shit?

Whats sad is they’re probably signed to 5 album 360 deals. French specifically him being familiar with how distribution works being in the dvd underground market for so long should know better; it baffles me why fall for diddy’s polished paper work.

for as long as there’s stupid artists who sign with him. No one is holding a gun to their head, these guys are making these stupid decisions.
Diddy is a fvcking snake. I can’t believe outside of his past artists, only 50 has gone at him. I wish more would have the guts to go at him. But no, the game has been weak for years, and it’s going to get worse.

This man has made so many careers and ended them as soon as the single they put out that he featured himself on left the charts. As a new artist you have to recognize Bad Boy is not a good move, if you plan on staying in the game longer then 6months on a major label not smart.

*Dead*__________________ thought i was the only one that found that ridiculous. Blame Pharell hes walking around with a general army hat on his head; he started this weird trend of “occupational hats” lol I’m waiting on a fire fighter helmet to be sported soon

Yo French I’ve been listenin to your music since Straight Cash and following all of your mixtapes. You’re a smart dude, shout out to Max B real quick, you guys had the wave in NYC goin heavy. I think Puff is definitely offering other deals, especially to French Montana because he knows the ins-n-outs of the music industry pretty well so I don’t see him falling for a bad deal and situation. Plus Diddy has more money that Jay-Z or 50 and he’s always number one on the forbes, so ofcourse he gave French a crazy advance and probably cut him a fair deal so French is going to leverage his career even more from Diddys help and grow even bigger because his hustle is what sets him apart, he doesn’t need Diddy, Diddy needs French Montana. MGK n Red Cafe need Diddy, thats why theyre only gonna last a few months n get over shadowed by Diddys features on their tracks anyways. Don’t forget French got 3 million from Akon already with his first deal and tons of cake from DVDs, so I see French Montana as the only artist that’s going to stand the test of time and grow even bigger.

im not gon lie Official Girl was a good single. but he needs to just admit he and Cassie are sleeping together and make her a housewife or full time model(still not sure about that). shes not gonna be successful in music. Ryan Leslie could at least right her some hit songs and put some magic on her vocals from the board. but she left his situation.

PUFFY is the only STAR in BAD BOY RECORDS. Hopefully none of them forget that. I mean RED been signed close to two years right and now he is gonna drop. hE SHOULD HAVE DROPPED WHEN HE HAD DOES SINGLE BANGING.. LAST SUMMER. His buzz was greater then. Dude wont even push 80,000 first week. French is the JACKPOT for bad boy records. IF they drop his album ASAP…..
