Dedication: NYC Sneakerheads wait for the latest Air Yeezys
Posted by Miss Info under for fashion-hounds and obsessive consumers , hmmm....? , life beyond rap , videos[24] Comments
ODS says: “Video was filmed by M3 and A Rod Grime and Directed by ODS Media. Please feel free to post. There are also rumors Kanye will be having a thank you party in NYC for buyers of the shoes from the looks of this video these fans definitely deserve it. Lets keep our fingers crossed.”
What would I camp out for (to buy, that is)?…..hmm….honestly, I can’t think of anything. Lemme work on that one.
Totally unrelated: I gotta update my blogroll. Does it bother you when there are too many links on the side? Is it better when its more exclusive?

the links on the side don’t bother me. But I guess there is a lot categories that could go.

Did you notice how poorly they all dress?
$500 sneakers aren’t going to help.
and they say thank you at the end. you are happy to sleep in the street for 3 days?
and if you think im jealous, you’re wrong, cost me $100 more but I got 2 pairs to resell to people that know their time is worth not standing in a raining line for 3 days.

That’s dedication. I don’t know what i’d sit outside for either. The stuff i love is too corny to generate a line. They’d have to be giving away free macs or blackberry tours or flat screens or something to get me to stand out there. I admire the passion tho

I’m well aware that this stuff still goes on, but am I just old (32yo) or is obsessive sneaker collecting sooo played out(early nineties). No offense kids, but that went out when Jordan retired as far as I’m concerned.

I’m older then #6, but I still collect kicks and I have waited over night for a pair of Spizikes when the first came out. What people forget is that flippin’ kicks on Ebay is big business. I pay 200 for a pair of kicks that some kid in the Idaho can’t get and resell for a cool 1k, that seems like a very good deal to me. Check Ebay for those black Yeezy, that price is not the original purchase price; so some of these people are enterprising to say the least. Some are nuts and a lot of us have sneaker problems from our parents getting them rejects from the back of the supermarket (me) hence the I will never wear wack kicks again. LOL

i was part of the production team for this video, i think we need not bash lining up for sneakers etc. the point of us creating this video is to show how much of a BRAND Kanye West has become, outselling 50 cent in 1st week album sales, wearing the G shock watches and now a large amount of people rock them, to rocking the plastic glasses that came to flood the streets of NY for months on end. So he drops sneakers, it’s only natural that people queue up to purchase them especially since their limited!!!
Stop criticizing other peoples way of life!!! if you have nothing positive to say then don’t say a word!!
thank you
be good be safe be HAPPY

Earthquake is 100% right. Iam also apart of this production team and our goal was to show tha masses that the hype for kanye’s sneaker equates to the same hype michael jordan had years ago. And what makes it amazing is that Kanye is not an athlete but yet his sneakers have created such a buzz. and for #15 its not about being on someones sack, people like the shit. if you like something or someones art does that mean your riding their sack?who’s your favorite athlete or rapper? before you answer that question you should hop of there sack. make sense? nope!! so stop hating on the people who sacrificed hours waiting for these exclusive sneakers!!!!
