I’ve been reading the update posts on Sandrarose about the young emotionally-disturbed woman who spazzed out on an old lady on the train in Atlanta. It was caught on youtube and posted here. She was tracked down by police and is now getting the medical mental health treatment that she needed all along for her alleged bi-polar disorder. So that’s a good thing.

So we’ve acknowledged that the health care system and communities in general need to care for those in need of help, as opposed to shunning them….Mental illness and the pain that folks with mental illness suffer is no joke. I know from family experience what its like to see someone you love suffering.

So it feels wrong to watch the video tributes to this woman’s rant. And even wrongerer to laugh at them…but I refuse to go to hell alone….so, you’re coming with.
