Dave Chappelle hosts the 200th episode of Inside the Actors Studio

I think its an amazing honor that out of the hundreds of actors who have sat on the right side of that stage, James Lipton and crew asked Dave Chappelle to take the left side seat and interview Lipton for the 200th episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio…I’m sure it had to do with the way Dave opened up to the show on his post-Comedy Central-to-Africa escape run.
I havent found the whole episode online but here are a few extra clips from Bravo’s site...I like these though…
and by the way…I can’t wait for Top Chef to start tomorrow. Love Bravo.

James Lipton has a great sense of humor and is a good sport about taking shots (pause)

That’s great. Now I miss shows like “Dinner For Five” that John Favreau used to have running on IFC for years. The final season was never even properly packaged and put on DVD.

Yeah, this was a great episode. Dave is a funny cat but he always drops gem’s.
Dave on being rich & black…

And I can’t wait for Top Chef! Info put me on & I’ve been hooked! I actually saw one of the finalists from Chicago on the A train a couple months back. The redhead. She was on the train with who I assume was her girlfriend, a gorgeous black woman. Right before I got off I told her I didn’t really like her on the show but she surprised me with how far she had gotten. She just looked at me with a blank expression & her girl looked stunned. I guess I don’t look like a typical Top Chef viewer lol.

This was classic.. I never realized how much stuff Lipton was into.
When he said he was a pimp in france, it was hilarious how Chappelle went off of that. Chappelle was a great choice, he brought comedy but also can get people to understand things and look at it like whoa..
