why you concerned with album sales? That means nothing when it comes to good music. Pop music yes, but not talented artist.
Trust me if you asked SH what they rather do, sale a million or sell out tour dates(tour year round), I can bet you they would say “Sell out tour dates”
Nobody is buying albums any more. Where you really get to appreciate the artist and their craft is at live shows! Like this BlakRoc project, I bet you they will be touring for a minute making more off it than they do in album sales.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. That is BP3 you can like it or hate it.
My only question is how does Jay-Z imitate Kanye West when they made the album together.
Jay-Z deliberately wanted Kanye West’ production to be heavy on the album, how does that equal imitation.
Thats like saying F! the Max 95′s coz they copied some elements on the Max 90′s, and expecting a lawsuit or plaigarism, it’s still Nike, ya dig?
BP3 was produced by Kanye West so did he imitate himself? Jay said it repeatedly Kanye West is producing the album with me. So technically BP3 is a Kanye West album, so you either hate the Kanye production but you can’t call it imitation.

I’m happy to see Dame working on a new project. I hope the end result will be fantastic rather than a passing trend like autotune.
I’m still satisfied with Dr.Dre beats, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Preemo, Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Kanye e.t.c they still deliver all the time.
Can we at least date the music first, as you would when your tryin to get to know a beautiful female, get to know it and see wsup and then decide. Can we at least sample some tracks 1st before going all the way in!
I don’t know if i’m ready to go to a concert to throw the horns in the sky, see people play air guitars and be around females walking around like the living dead. I don’t know if i’m ready for that or even want that. Let’s just wait and see coz that electric guitar sounding off as soon as I clicked the video was a shock to the system.
Plus some of the artists I’ve seen there certainly haven’t had classic material lately, theres not enough hip-hop MVP’s on that squad to even call it a movement. I’m going to stay tuned and see wsup meanwhile waiting for that Detox.
I don’t know if i’m ready to go to a concert with people throwing the horns in the sky or playing air guitars and dancing all crazy. The hipster movement is bad enough now blakrock, I don’t know Dame what happened to pro-keds and that vodka?

I love Love Love Looove the black keys and the idea of them mashed up with my fav MC Mos and some of my other fav’s is incredible I can’t wait super excited this is gonna be great I’m so glad good honest music is on it’s way back I even love Jones on this and I normally don’t really vibe with Jones music like that much, but he sounds good here. It’s a celebration bitches Music is coming back ya’ll I mean honest music music that has creativity music that’s about something not just a standard album formula of your party single your song for the ladies your street song your club banger and then filler with 20 features I’m talking about albums with a topic a focus. Good look Dame it’s about time people see you actually doing something standing on your own two instead of sideways bitching about how Jay and or Def Jam were fucked up when you were cut out, like Jay said Dame made millions so on one owes him or any of the other former roc-a-fella people anything that’s ancient history and its time he made his own moves and it looks like he finally is.
(side note Don’t know if you know anything about this info but I heard Dame was working with Mos on a movie about the legendary Black Punk Band “Death” love that idea too Dame make it happen keep hustling dude.
(side note I loved seeing how Mos is just spot on and comes up with the melody used in the song in minutes just listening to the track from a car speaker that dude just oozes creativity wish other Rappers would take notes)

Looks pretty good. Dame has a tight film production crew. That Jim Jones doc was cool, so was the Nicky Barnes one he did. This trailer looks cool too. Hopefully the music is up to snuff as well.

Hopefully this stays true to the integrity of the music, and not another platform for miscellaneous artists that Dame feels beholden.
Mos sounded great on the record. Jim’s voice lends well, but his approach was a bit affected. I like the fact that he had to step his game up a bit, when he saw a dope emcee was in the building.
I hope for the best. Good luck Dame.

Wow, I’m impressed. Good for Dame. Hopefully this will stop all the hating that has been brought upon him.
I love where music is going. Kid Cudi’s shit was amazing. BP3…ah. It was good but I was expecting more. And Jay was promoting way, way too much.
Let the music speak for itself dude. Good luck dame dash.

This is what Hip-Hop needs… people are getting tired of the synthetic sound in rap music. This will blow what Lil Wayne/T-Pain is doing out the water. This is PURE in the rawest form Music.
I just hope un-talented people don’t jump on this bandwagon thinking they can replicate this sound to make a quick buck. But hey this is the music biz so anything is possible.

the answer is, does black radio support Wu, Mos Def, RZA, Q-Tip, M.O.P as HipHop artist now, hmmm lets ask Miss Info (and don’t mention Jaun Epstein & 90s @ 9).
Is B.E.T. still relevant to the black community, hmm lets ask Tavis Smiley and TV One

Ok well this album is going to sound way different because its the BLACK KEYS playing the music. They are one of the best rock bands that are out there and for those who dont know any of there music I suggest you go and buy one of there albums not to support the band but to actually buy REAL MUSIC. The Black Keys are more of a soulful blues type of band. Remember rock music is Black music. We cant just stereotype a genre of music and think that rock is all about long hair and devil horns. Think Jimi Hendrix. I hope that this album does well and that people can broaden their horizons.I just hope that the music industry doesn’t just see this as another ploy to make money and to exploit artist. Or that it becomes a trend kinda like the autotune. Remember people REAL HIP HOP IS NOT PLAYED ON THE RADIO OR ON MUSIC VIDEOS. WAKE UP!
