Dame Dash continues to be a talked about figure in hip-hop. His historical moves with Roc-A-Fella records are still the blueprint for young entrepreneurs looking to blow up with an independent rap label. These days it seems like his transformation into a tame-artsy-business-dude is what still draws us to Dame. Recently, he gave a really interesting interview to Sharon Carpenter/GlobalGrind about his current moves, past, and attitude toward Jay-z and Kanye’s success.
“I’m a completely difrerent person in my 40s than I was in my 20s.”
“We created one of the biggest indendent movements of all time, and that’s positive.”
“Everytime I see [Jay and Kanye] on television I know what I did”
