Dame Dash Admits To $3 Million Tax Debt: ‘They’re Auditing Me’
Posted by Mikey Fresh under videos[16] Comments
I was just talking about Dame to a colleague, too, asking if they knew what was going on with Dame. At one point, he was running with Curren$y, Stalley and a number of other rappers he brought into in his DD172 art space, but with these cats joining the Warner machine, it feels like he’s been MIA. Besides his name being brought into the news for owing a sh*load of taxes, no one really knows what he’s been doing. As for the bread he owes…. he’s not lying about it.
“I owe way more than $2 million in taxes. That must’ve just been the IRS,” Dash tells Sway on his new radio show ‘Sway In The Morning’, laughing, before admitting that he was in a bad space financially. “Nah, nah, I’m f—ed up.”
continued after the jump…
“They’re auditing me. When you’re a business man, you have a lot of businesses, a lot of times they think you’re laundering money or you’re pretending you’re writing things off that you don’t,” he continued. “I’m a true businessman. As you know, I believe in my independence, I have no partners, so every dollar I make goes right back into every business I have.”
“If I have an accountant that just reports I just invested $10 million in my business and he doesn’t exactly itemize where every cost goes, it gives a flag to the government,” he said. “They want to make sure that the reason I’m not paying taxes is because I’m reinvesting in these businesses and not trying to hide stuff.”
“They gotta look at every single transaction, and the government is slow,” he said. “They really don’t believe that I’m so real about putting all of my money into my business, but that’s what I do.”
What about Biggs? “Feds arrest national weed ring, including Kareem “Biggs” Burke and High Times staff”

I don’t even know wtf u just babbled but it reads like ure an idiot!!
Not only did Jay-Z already make him rich, affording him the means to continue to make money, but he hasn’t spoken any real ill feeling about their parting.
Jay continued to prosper because at the end of the day, it was he who was truly the “business man”… not some ne’er do well who sole talent was being attached to someone who made them look good.
Dame’s situation was and still is, of his own making.
After claiming he “made” Jay, he should read that playbook again…

Former Record Execs owe money
“you can blame Jay-Z”
You cant sell your album this week
“you can blame Jay-Z” etc. LOL
But in actuality
it was the Kiss of Don Seagel that
brought about the demise of
UnderBoss Dame Dash.

So let me get this right. Dame “not willing to be a sellout” got him in the predicament that he’s in now? You should write a book on Jay’s life since you know so much about him.

Dame admitted to owing $2 million in taxes. But some how some of you guys think Jay should pay the $2 million in taxes. Just because they use to be friends. And of Jay does’nt give the $2 million in taxes to Dame he is a sellout.
Some of theses comments above have to be fake. Someone as to be pulling a prank here. Because it is impossible for me to believe that a group of people can write this stuff. Most of what I read was very juvenile and confusing. I just don’t understand why some people think Jay should give him a handout. Why? Because in the past they were friends. And friendship last forever? Well, that’s bull**** and you know it.
People sure do enjoy telling other people how to live and what to do with their lives. Jay and Dame were friends and business partners. But that relationship is over now. And when relationships ends so does everything else (good or bad) that came with that relationship.
Therefore, Jay owes Dame nothing. Btw, Dame seems to come off as a person that as a lot of pride and I have a feeling because of that pride. Dame wouldn’t take any amount of money from Jay.

Welcome to the internet:)
As far as Dame having a lot of pride, let him find himself facing Wesley Snipes time and he swallows that pride real quick.

I’m indifferent about this situation. First off its nobody but Dames fault that he’s broke there’s no way in hell i would go from a millionaire to being in the negative financially….He got to flashy….you didn’t have an account Dame? Now Jay-z i think he is just great at manipulating a situation. Musically whoever is hot he hops on there dick example: Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Drake, Kanye west. Granted Jay-z is a great businessman and he was the reason Roc-a-fella stayed afloat for so long its good business for him keep the whole pie for himself so like a previous comment said in this blog divide and conquer and now he’s conquered the game, but at what cost? My only grip with Jay-z is the man that he is, i couldn’t look at my self in the mirror knowing that Dame is broke ya’ll got money together. From stacks to millions and from day one all you heard was Roc la familia but Jay-z had a trick for everybody its was never love it was always business and there nothing wrong with that but dont act like its deeper then rap when its not.
