wave, I highly doubt that the premise of the album formerly known as “Nigger” would be that the white man is the devil. However, I hope it brings to light some of the relationships the two (blacks & whites) have. I would be extremely interested if Nas spoke of the relationship between rappers (slaves) and major record labels (owners) and how these rappers are making these white people rich. Yet the latter group don’t care about said artists. Nas had a line about that before on a song called “Black Zombies.”

ok i know this album talks about bad things that go on across the world.but it seems like the out come of this album leans towards some hate against whites, now let me break something down places like china where the some cops treat people bad and it is known that some of the government put 9 year olds in slavery does that mean the asain man is the devil??? no!! in mexico a lot of the cops treat people very bad and the government doesnt help people get jobs and people their get treated very bad does that the mexican man is the devil??? no!! thousands of years ago before the white man came too africa black tribes fought against each other and killed each other and made their youth get periceing and tatoos that cause them horrible pain.does that mean the black man is the devil??? no!!!some whites put blacks in slavery and now a days a lot of cops treat blacks like crap does that mean the white man is the devil??? no!!! i hope this album lets people know that every colar went threw slavery and caused slavery.and i hope this album teaches kids to not be racist against other colars just cause their great great great x10 grand pants might have killed their great great great x5 grand parents.you go too china chinese people get treated better than any other colar,you go too puerto rico ricans get treated better than any colar it doesnt mean their bad thats how it is every where i think its time we stop blameing the white man cause everycolar had its share of hard times and have done horrible things. but too blame the great great great grabd kids is racist. theirs rich black people from sports,acting,doctors,owners of stores,teachers ect..theirs rich and poor of every colar.the goverment every where are own by other dif types of colars and a lot of people are getting treated unfair from all colars.i hope nas teaches that in his album.and yea the us needs a lot of improvements. but when you look at places like iran where a female cant even drive a car cause she is female and if you dont convert to being muslim you would go to jail and be hang,and other countrys it doesnt make the us look bad infact even tho theirs a lot of foul things our government does the u.s is the most freeist place in the world.but at the same time we still need to improve a lot i hope nas teaches that in his new album.sorry for the bad spelling..peace

this is the big question match up to all the hype lets not have any pre-conceived ideas of what will come, i think nas always tryed something new with something old in hand, most dumb folk will expect an illmatic re-bake because what his critics are wanting. this has at times become a mile stone around his neck he has cut this off now and will continue to teach the mass a sermon

p.s nas do something in africa even a video and track please if not now soon!

MTV doesnt know Hip-Hop,thats why.that list should be called “most popular in rap 08″ or something because talent couldnt have been a factor on that list.Kanye,Jay and Wayne are the only ones that i agree with on that list.legends should be exempt from those little list cause their places in Hip-Hop are permanently established

i think NAS is one of few smart artist out there and he has never fail me in his music. people need to give this a chance because there is a lot of knowledge being spread through his music.

Rent- I’m NOT sure there was a lot of hype for this album! It seems like he is in charge of his own promotion!

BUT Why didn’t he make that MTV list? His last album was better than Jay-Z last two albums and he has released more albums that 3000 in the last two years…

I’m just saying…

Update: Haten on the Lil Homie aint a good look these days especially when Lil Wayne album just leaked and its ass…
