Update: Official Statement:
“Kelis gave birth to Knight Jones last night on July 22nd around 9PM. Weighing a healthy 7.8lbs, the beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful.”
Additional details:
This was a natural birth and Kelis had been in labor since early Monday morning around 2AM. Knight was delivered in a NYC hospital with her mother and sister in the room. This is the mother’s first child.
Congrats to new mom Kelis….sources say that the singer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Knight Jones, this evening (after over 36 hours of labor?!). Rapradar reports that “It was a natural birth and… Nas was at hospital at time of delivery but wasn’t in room when she gave birth.“

Karma a bitch K, 36hrs. of labor others are reporting 24hr. either way thats for all the bullshit u and ur momma trying to pull. He’s gonna take care of him just like he does Destiny. I’m glad that he was there for the birth, others where reporting that he wasn’t. Stop being so money hungry, now you got the baby think about him not urself or ur momma.

good for her!!! been following her pregnant tweeting and she’s hella crazy/too funny. half the time i want to go and eat cause she’s always talking about so much food. damn. and natural too. that’s really hard and for that long o_0. she’s lucky to have a good family and friends stand by her.
