Although Pusha T, Q-Tip and Big Sean have all hinted at the prospect of a new G.O.O.D. Music album entitled Cruel Winter, the follow-up to September’s Cruel Summer, the most recent update comes from Common, who shot down the idea of a second compilation album. In a recent interview with Vulture (via HipHop DX), the long-time Grammy Family member explained the record was simply a rumor. He added that most of his label mates have been busy on solo albums, anyway.

Oh, yeah, nah, nah. I don’t think [Cruel Winter is] happening. It was more of a rumor—cats been creating, but everybody’s been doing their solo album. So that’s what that is.

Speaking of solo albums, Common himself is currently working on his 10th LP (along with an EP and his very first mixtape). In the same interview, the Chicago MC revealed a number of producers on his studio album, including Travi$ Scott, No I.D., 88-Keys and Hit-Boy. The LP is slated for a Fall release.
