“According to Amazon.com, Eminem’s new studio album “Relapse” will be in stores December 23rd.The news is contrary to earlier reports that the album, Eminem’s first in four years, wouldn’t be released until sometime in 2009.”

“It doesn’t look like Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 is coming out this year. There still hasn’t been a video for “Jockin’ Jay-Z (Dope Boy Fresh).” Matter of fact, there hasn’t been a word about the album in weeks, except that Hov is working on it.
The only confirmed information is that Jay and Kanye West have done a bunch of tracks together, and the early talk was that Kanye would be the only producer on the album. That is looking more unlikely now.
And, of course, 50 has voiced his opinion of Kanye’s upcoming “new direction.”

I am going to download Fif’s album, the others will skip. Hov ain’t the same, and ‘Ye, well 50 said it best. Love the mic dropping for emphasis though, and I appreciate 50’s honesty, instead of all politically correct responses we often see from rappers.

I bet Kanye will have more success in his new direction than 50 will going BACK to his original essence….
And I’m not even a 50 hater at ALL, but the event value of anything G-Unit has gone waaaay down. People need to quit making excuses for the waining quality of 50. I’m sure he’ll do his numbers and all, but hopefully the quality of the ‘aggressive content’ will match the actual aggression…
As far as Hov is concerned, I’m patiently waiting on that one…
Also excited to see what Em has planned.

I dont think Em drops in Dec, why would Interscope drop two of there biggest acts in the same month? Its a good date with the holidays and shit, but I dont think Em will drop. Fifs album should be hot, if he keeps it aggressive like he says, but then he takes the risk of it not selling as much. See Curtis had hot records, but it def had alot more soft tracks, but it sold well, but people dissed it being soft, so if this album he goes hard, ok cool, but then what if it dont sell as much as Curtis did? They diss him on that. So either way he loses, if its soft but sells, they diss it, if its hard and dont sell, they diss it. I mean wasnt TOS a hard street album? But it didnt sell shit. So him being aggressive will make the album hot I think, but street records dont sell, you need club and chick single, you see Lolipop, that awful TI bullshit, those records do big, not street shit. So we’ll see. As for Kanye, not interested at all in his shit, personally I think he is wack, I think he has skills lyrically, but I think that whole style of pop rap is gay, I dont like it. And with the auto tuned bullshit the whole album, dont care. of course he will sell alot, but from the shit I heard off the album shit sounds wack as fuck, atleast his other albums were pretty dam good, even if I’m not a fan, they were good, this shit just sucks. I’d rather listen to Fif spit street shit then Kanye rapping about his gay ways and shit, rapping about his handbags and his gay shit, auto tuned wack shit. But thats me, Common, Ye, Mos, I cant listen to that kind of rap. But Ye will sell, we know that.

I’m done with Kanye he’s not relevant to me no more, he came out sampling artists who my parents raised me on, I told everybody he was goin to blow because he had a good ear for music these days he looks like a sell-out. I bet you he doesn’t eat soul food no more.
As for Curtis and Shawn Carter I can’t wait to get that product from them the streets need that. December 9th is a great day for hip-hop, JADAKISS, 50 CENT, JIM JONES & BUSTA RHYMES I’M GETTING EVERY SINGLE ALBUM!!!
