Chris Rock, J. Cole, Michael B. Jordan and many more are gathered today in New York City in honor of Martin Luther King Jr day. Hosted by Blackout for Human Rights and the Campaign for Black Male Achievement, the “MLK Now” even is being held at Harlem’s Riverside Church, where Dr. King delivered his famous 1967 speech “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence.”

Activists celebs and more are giving speeches and motivational talks in the spirit of the revolutionist. There will be also be a panel held by Creed director Ryan Coogler, Creed actress Tessa Thompson, publisher Rahiel Tesfamariam, Arab-American Association of New York executive director Linda Sarsour, Million Hoodies Movement for Justice executive director Dante Barry, filmmaker and Sakofa.org co-director Gina Belafonte and more.
