CNN aired their big Larry King Live sit-down with Chris Brown, his mom Joyce Hawkins, and lawyer Mark Geragos…and of course the twitter-peanut-gallery was on high-alert. But for the most part, the nervous singer struggled to put his feelings into concise words. He said wanted to avoid detailing the night for Rihanna’s sake…because it would mean replaying painful details or embarrassing details? But even the discussion of the events/emotions after the altercation was not too illuminating. Either way, I don’t doubt that Chris understands how far he has to climb, and in many ways, this interview was a losing proposition. I wonder if Rihanna will have to do a similar reveal when she needs to press for her next project… (thanks to RapRadar for the speedy upload!)

Chris’ mom, Joyce says that she spoke to Rihanna after the incident and there was no animosity. Joyce apologized for her son, Rihanna said, “Mom, I’m ok.” (That must have been a heartbreaking convo for both) Meanwhile Chris says that he thinks about how he screwed up his career daily.

Needless to say, the response about the post-incident get-together and jetski photos was lame…didn’t make sense. Interview prep is very necessary.
