Ralph should bring back some of his classic joints like Nike does.
I see some of his Polo Bear stuff here and there. But the Snow Beach joints, The Indian Head, that shit was classic.

My man, if you only know about the shit from a Wu video that’s your problem. I think it’s a stretch to act like Rae made it “famous,” heads already rocked that shit.

Rae is in the public eye, so he’s gonna get credit for it. Niggas in LA don’t know who Lo Lifes are, and dudes in Texas don’t know Random Dude X in Brooklyn who stayed in Polo back in ’92. So being an artists gives you that outlet to take your shit beyond your block. I’m pretty sure Cam wasn’t the first dude rocking pink like that, but he took it to a larger scale when he did it.

I wouldn’t say Big’s passing had an effect on NYC like Pac’s did on the west coast. We still had dudes pulling their weight. The originality from mainstream artists just became non-existant, and now you can’t even tell when a guy is from NY **cough**ASAP Rocky**cough**. I’m not even mad at the south to be honest. They have some really trash acts coming out of there, but NY shouldn’t be biting to get recognition. Nobody on the east was talking about straight jackin’, hoo-ridin’, hittin’ switches in the six-fo’, etc., back in the early to mid 90′s, so don’t start biting now.

Yeah but Jay & Nas brought it back for a minute! I blame radio, the video stations, & that south club bull#$%@! Now even the “Hottest” NY cat wants to sound like he’s from anywhere else BUT NY! F#$%^ THAT! We need somebody to save Hip Hop, for real! (And this is a Northern Cali dude saying this too!)

If I recall properly Ghost had some real foul words about young Crissy after his little Rhianna incident. Wonder what Ghost would have to say now. Hopefully they will meet one day in a dark alley & we can be done with CB forever!

it’s funny how the article says says Raekwon “recently” found the Snow Beach pullover. LMAO! It should say Chris brown “recently” FOUND the Snow Beach pullover. Rae rocked that shit in the “Can It Be That It Was All So Simple” video over 15 years ago. True OG. No Retro.
