1) Ciara and 50 Cent:

While Rihanna was performed  for New Year’s in Abu Dhabi with DJ Green Lantern, and her new man Matt Kemp in attendance…Ciara apparently turned down that NYE gig in Kazakhstan and opted instead to ring in 2010 with 50 Cent (at a safe distance *wink, wink*) at Pure in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Fif earned his keep by getting on the mic with Yayo, Banks and Floyd Mayweather, but Ciara held court in VIP…you can see her and her flawless doobie and lace bustier up by the back wall, semi-hidden by a curtain. Chris Brown spent New Years tearing up Miami, with that annoying twerp Bowwow. But was also seen (above) with the homie Rhea, who is the newest member of N.E.R.D. (or….they could just be pals who were on the way to lunch or something. I mean, I do that all the time. So this one is 50/50. I’ll find out…but by that time, this kid will probably be spotted with someone else.)

3) Swizz and Alicia: Swizz Beats and Alicia Keys are reportedly househunting, and eying a townhouse on the Upper East Side (near the Mayor, near Lyor Cohen, and alot of other really rich upper-crusty white people. Hello, Brunch at the Carlyle!) (via PageSix)

I know this is so un-rap-related, but baby Hayden Panettiere from Heros and Ukranian boxer Wladimir Klitschko? (is he the mentally unstable one or is that Vitali? I remember one of them having some kind of breakdown in the ring…no?) JustJared says she’s 20 now, but I thought she was like 16 dating her costar Milo Ventimiglia a couple years ago. My homie J at the EmbrocationCycling blog rightly pointed out, this is no weirder than Jessica Simpson and that glow-in-the-dark bald guy from Smashing Pumpkins. (photos spotted at JustJared)

6) Tila Tequila mourns Casey Johnson: In disturbing celebrity romance news: Johnson and Johnson heiress and consummate Hollywood party girl Casey Johnson has suddenly died**….most recently Tila Tequila claimed that she and Casey were engaged (although a former girlfriend of Casey’s said that Tila’s ring was a fake). Tila posted this tweet. (Thx to Nation for the tip) (**what’s with the 30-somethings dying suddenly of “natural causes”?)

7) Toya: Toya of “Tiny and Toya” (aka Lil Wayne’s first babymaker) has been dating Memphitz, the host of BET’s The Deal. She declares her love via….twitter. (*hey Elizabeth Barrett Browning, try cutting down that thought to 140 characters, ktnxbai!*!)
