Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie (previously, of dog-slapping fame…remember?)  admitted on Atlanta radio to verbally attacking Chili from TLC at a recent party. According to her personal videographer, Freddyo:

“Frankie wanted to take a picture with Chili cause she’s her biggest fan. All I am going to say is Frankie had too many drinks and her alter-ego took over. Chili who was doing an interview at the time was caught by surprise when Frankie ran over to give her a hug. Frankie didn’t like Chili’s return hug. Chili then walked to where Yung Joc was standing not thinking anything of it and started conversing with him. Out of nowhere, here comes Frankie leaping on top of me trying to get Chili… ‘You think you better than me!’ Remember, by this time Frankie was officially lit! Chili asked if she was ok and then Frankie tries to grab her again….”

The homie Nigel from RealTalkNY was in Dante’s Inferno, I mean, Sodom and Gomorrah, I mean, Miami for Memorial Day weekend, and had this epiphany:

I’ve been calling Pretty Ricky an omen of the apocalypse ever since I watched them on the BET Awards pre-show last year. So Spectac-u-its-morally-offensive-for-this-guy-to-call-himself-that-name ’s dance display in his lycra thong is no surprise to me. The tip-off of the impending doom is the say Spec says his band-mate’s name “Lingerie.”

hahaha….yo. I have no idea what Big City Philadelphia’s beef is with Asher Roth, Steve Rifkin, and every rapper who’s been labeled with the “hipster” stamp in the past year (Kid Cudi, Kidz in the Hall, Wale, Charles Hamilton etc)….but I can’t front. This crude Last Dragon mashup is kind of hilarious.

Well well well, guess who has Crime Pays dropping in 10 days. Cam’ron has been cooking up (ahh, I kill myself) a batch of new videos and touching down everywhere from Staten Island to South Beach (gimme cooookies! (c) that blue don on south sesame). And now we’re seeing the fruits of that hustle all over the internets.

I spoke to Buffie once, can’t remember what about, but she was extremely sweet. However, I think her editors should have chosen a different working title for the book….doesn’t Superhead have an Encyclopedia Britainica hardcover series of “Vixen”-titles?
But either way….I wonder if Buff will devote a chapter to the awesome period of her life with this guy, LOL!

Unrelated/Related: So…..Supahead told the homie Jawn that she’s married to Eddie Winslow (Darius McCrary) and that she been married to him for that matter. Ok. Yeesh.

you know that your legacy is safe when your name becomes ubiquitous that kids in the Deep South can just use your first and last name as an abstract catchphrase for their new youtube song and dance. Maybe like The Pee Wee Herman, but for 2009. You are not a person, you are two words that together can stand for when you go to the mall and pick up a girl, who is so impressed by your je-ne-sais-quoi that she leaves said mall with you.

On the other hand, when I first saw the girls pumping their arms and sticking out their dash leg…I thought they were gonna stay the Dame Dash symbolized some type of smash-n-grab robbery. So…at least these kids from Baton Rouge aren’t even up on Dame’s current press.

Ok, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way….I feel like I can more forward. I don’t like hiding things from you. First off, I’m a sap at heart (as most jaded cynics are). Also, I love fantasy books. (we’ve discussed this here before…and if I recall correctly, you guys all recommended these high-brow pieces of great literature, and nobody told me about these cheesy awesome Twilight books back then. Clearly, you give me too much credit. lol. I used to read VC Andrews books.) And as a female, I love tortured love stories. (i.e. “Pride and Prejudice”…specifically the Keira Knightly version. And “Love Actually.”…again, that Knightly chick. weird.) Now my homie Grace has already warned me to keep my expectations low. Which means the flick probably sucks. But I’m still amped and already sold hook n anchor on crib-bait star Robert Pattinson.

Especially because of these anti-Hollywood hype reactions that NYMag rounded up:

“What is with all the screaming?” Mr. Pattinson asked when he came out…”The connection that I am an actor playing this character is sort of skipped…They are in denial. They think I am Edward Cullen…It is bizarre,” he said. “People come from three states away and walk up to you trembling. I feel that I am at a disadvantage here because I can’t provide this mystical thing that they came for in the two seconds we have.”

“My brain doesn’t really accept [the hysteria.] I just don’t want to get shot or stabbed. I don’t want someone to have a needle and I’ll get AIDS afterwards.’ That’s only my real fears.”

A pubescent curmudgeon after my own heart. But he’ll get spoiled by Hollywood and turn into a c-actress chasing skeezer just like Colin Farrell before him. Ah well.
