In the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, Complex‘s Joe La Puma kicks it with one of the best actors doing it right now, Mahershala Ali. While browsing the shelves at Stadium Goods in NYC, the Moonlight Oscar winner talks about his first memory of Jordans, his little-known history as a ranked BMX rider and bringing the Agassis to the basketball court back in high school. Mahershala also discusses his experience with racial profiling and fame, particularly when it comes to shopping (word to Kanye: “You see it’s broke n*gga racism, that’s that ‘Don’t touch anything in the store’ / And it’s rich n*gga racism, that’s that ‘Come in, please buy more'”).
