Just 11 days ago SZA released her new single “Drew Barrymore,” a song she’d later perform for the first-time on national television during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The Antydote and Carter Lang-produced record is the first offering off SZA’s upcoming album CTRL, which now has a release date.

In a feature done by Billboard, it’s revealed CTRL is set to hit stores on February 3. It will serve as a follow-up to the TDE songstress’ last full-length release, 2014’s Z. Along with the release date, SZA speaks on working with Rihanna on ANTI‘s “Consideration,” tips from Rick Rubin and listening to her own voice.

Chrisette Michele is the latest recording artist to join Donald Trump’s inauguration celebration. Michele and her team accepted the offer weeks back but decided not to make the decision public till now for fear of backlash. The former Motown signee agreed to sing for the President elect as long as she could perform an R&B set.

The event will take place tomorrow at the Lincoln Memorial and will also include musical selections from Toby Keith, Sam Moore and 3 Doors Down.

Fat Joe and JAY Z buried their longstanding beef which dates back to the late-90s, when they collaborated on Joe Crack and Remy Ma’s “All the Way Up” remix. The Terror Squad MC is now entering a new chapter of his career, as he has joined JAY Z and Roc Nation. Fat Joe is the latest artist to sign with Roc Nation management, announced in a press release by Joe’s publicist on Wednesday (Jan. 18).

The Bronx veteran joins a loaded lineup over at Roc Nation who recently added Yo Gotti and The LOX to their label/management company that also has Rihanna, J. Cole, Big Sean, The-Dream, Nick Jonas, Vic Mensa, Meek Mill and Fabolous.

Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s Plata O Plomo LP is due on Feb. 10, lead by their new single “Money Showers” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

Bump J To Be Released In March

Chicago street rap legend and Kanye West collaborator, Bump J has a lot to be thankful for this year, above everything, is his upcoming release from prison. According to Chicago music and news authority Fake Shore Drive the emcee, who’s spent nearly a decade in prison on charges of armed robbery, will be released this March.

Now that we have G.O.O.D news, I’m ready for some new G.O.O.D music. See what I did there? Ha!

Bryson Tiller had a major year in 2016, lead by the success of his certified platinum T R A P S O U L debut album. The Louisville singer ended last year off by releasing the song “Let Me Explain,” and guest appearing on Gucci Mane’s The Return of East Atlanta Santa LP.

The 24-year-old is now focused on his upcoming sophomore LP, which he announced to his 1.15 million followers on Twitter on Tuesday night (Jan. 17). “im working on this album called True to Self, non-stop until it’s finished. then it’s yours,” tweeted Bryson, revealing the project will be titled True to Self.

No additional details are known but fans can expect the follow-up to T R A P S O U L to arrive sometime this year.

Lionsgate Pac

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee, Tupac, is set to come to the big screen in his upcoming biopic All Eyez On Me biopic. It will officially hit theaters on his birthday (June 16th).  The Benny Boom directed the film, which stars newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Shakur, was recently acquired by Lionsgate — and follows the life of the Death Row entertainer.
