big shaq

Big Shaq (aka British comedian Michael Dapaah) might just have the meme of the year with his “Man’s Not Hot” Fire In the Booth freestyle. In fact, he recently released it is as a single which debuted at No. 30 on the UK Singles Chart (it probably would’ve charted even higher had he released it sooner). In the latest episode of Noisey’s The People Vs. series, Shaq claps back at YouTube comments on his viral freestyle. You already know how the ting go…

jamie foxx jay pharoah

Who better than Jamie Foxx and Jay Pharoah to take part in a game of impressions? Earlier this week, the comedy pair stopped by The Ellen Show, where they pulled out hilarious impressions of JAY-Z, Kanye West, Barack Obama, Pharrell and Oprah Winfrey in various scenarios, from selling girl scout cookies to vacationing on a nude beach. south park logic

Hip-hop is becoming something of a fixture in season 21 of South Park. After spoofing Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” in last week’s season premiere, Trey Parker and Matt Stone turned their attention to Logic’s “1-800-273-8255″ during last night’s episode, “Put It Down.” In an effort to win his girlfriend Heidi back — and in a typically narcissistic ploy to get attention while the rest of school are consumed by North Korea and the danger of distracted drivers — Cartman performs his own rendition of Logic’s suicide awareness anthem throughout the school hallways. Unfortunately for Eric, it doesn’t look like anyone was buying his sudden conscious rap schtick.

In other hip-hop cartoon news, Logic recently appeared as himself in Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty.

kendrick lamar humble south park

South Park kicked off its 21st season in typically hilarious and biting style last night with an episode tackling white supremacy and the events in Charlottesville, SC — as well as spoofing Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” The episode’s subplot sees Cartman’s mother replacing their Amazon Alexa with a “Jim Bob,” an actual human assistant equipped with a smart phone, calendar, binoculars and various other items. To calm her son down who, as you can image, isn’t too pleased with Alexa’s replacement, Cartman’s mother instructs Jim Bob to play Kendrick’s “HUMBLE.” The result is a hilariously countrified cover that only further cements the song’s ubiquitous impact in 2017.

cool kids shit show

After a six-year hiatus, The Cool Kids are set to release their new album Special Edition Grand Mater Deluxe on September 15 — but that isn’t all they’ve been busy with. Chuck and Mikey have also teamed up with director Jimmy Regular to launch this bizarre new comedy series called Shit Show. Clocking in at 10 minutes, the first episode features cameos from the likes of Chance The Rapper, Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, Chief Keef, Twista and Hannibal Buress, plus plenty of trippy visual effects. Picture Odd Future’s Loiter Squad on whatever Mikey was smoking in that first scene.

Earlier this year, Netflix made another power move in the stand-up world by securing specials from Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and Tracy Morgan, in addition to the recently debuted specials from Dave Chappelle and Louis C.K. Today we’ve got our first look at Tracy Morgan’s upcoming performance, which marks his first stand-up special since being involved in a horrific car accident in 2014.

The appropriately titled Staying Alive finds Tracy tackling his time in the hospital, road to recovery and relationship with God with the same self-deprecating humor as usual. Because in life you gotta laugh to keep from crying. Tracy Morgan: Staying Alive hits Netflix on May 16.

Ray Allen once said the NBA actually stood for “No Boys Allowed.” But in today’s era where any sign of a scuffle leads to an automatic ejection, it’s hard to separate the men from the boys. So, The Ringer sat down two of the funniest sports fans around, Vince Staples and Hannibal Buress, to decide once and for all: who are the real NBA tough guys? And who are the fake NBA tough guys?
