A recent interview with HOT 97 created some tension, sparking a back-and-forth on Twitter between Minaj and her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels. During their public spat on Tuesday (Aug. 14), allegations of abuse, paying for prostitutes, infidelity and more were brought up.

Congrats to Eric and Jeff for hitting 200 episodes of A Waste of Time with ItsTheReal! Over the last three years, the Rosenthal brothers have picked the brain (and ticked the funny bone) of countless people within the hip-hop community, from Cardi B and Combat Jack (RIP) to Mac Miller and our very own Miss Info. The podcast has even taken them from their Upper West Side apartment all the way to London.

For their 200th episode, though, Eric and Jeff turn the tables and tell their own story. Sitting down with Naomi Zeichner, former Editor-in-Chief of The FADER, the Rosenthals walk us through their journey from young rap nerds growing up in Westchester, New York to carving out their own lane as respected hip-hop sketch comedians (and, of course, podcast hosts).

Without any additional details, Jimmy Kimmel created a buzz announcing Kanye West make an appearance on his late-night talk show this week. Returning for the first-time in five years, Mr. West did indeed popped up on Thursday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The rapper/designer/father sat down with Kimmel to discuss a wide-range of topics during their interview. Kanye opened up on speaking out in support of President Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian’s visit to the White House and successfully convincing Trump to grant clemency for first-time drug offender Alice Johnson, embracing his bi-polar disorder, being hospitalized in 2016, sending his daughter North West to fashion camp, executive producing five albums this summer and more.

“Everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me,” said Kanye when speaking about the election. “And then told me every time I said I liked Trump that I couldn’t say it out loud or my career would be over, I’d get kicked out of the black community… So, even when I said it right before I went to the hospital and I expressed myself… When I came out I had lost my confidence. So I didn’t have the confidence to take on the world and the possible backlash. And it took me a year and a half to have the confidence to stand up and put on the hat. No matter what the consequences were.”

With his new album Stay Dangerous out now, YG is on a promo run for his third studio LP. The Compton rapper appeared on The Breakfast Club this week, sitting down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee. During the 48-minute conversation, YG discusses his entrance into the fashion world, having a collection in Barneys, and becoming a meme favorite on social media due to his outfit choices. The west coast representer also spoke on some records off Stay Dangerous, going to therapy and the importance of mental health.

The 28-year-old opens up on some recent controversies including his issues with 6ix9ine, Madden removing a Colin Kaepernick lyric off his “Big Bank” song, the current open case related to an incident in Las Vegas, and the song “FDT (F**k Donald Trump)” which his label Def Jam Records received a letter from Trump’s office to get removed.

Beyoncé graces the cover of Vogue Magazine’s September issue. News leaked last week that Queen Bey would be the upcoming cover star. It was also revealed that the iconic entertainer recruited 19-year-old photographer Tyler Mitchell to shoot Mrs. Knowles-Carter, becoming the first black photographer to shoot the magazine’s cover image in its 126-year history.

The issue, completely done by Beyoncé herself, finds the 36-year-old speaking about marriage, the birth of her twins Rumi and Sir, the changes her body went through after birth, her legacy, the incredible Coachella 2018 performance, “On the Run 2” with husband JAY-Z, and more. The New York Times have published a new interview with Jay-Z about Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, a six-part docu-series he executive produced that premiered on Paramount Network last night. Speaking with Aisha Harris over phone, Hov says he hopes the documentary will not only educate and enlighten people — particularly those who have doubts about the case — but to change backward laws like stand-your-ground, which contributed to George Zimmerman’s acquittal.

Throughout the almost two-hour conversation, Bronsolino talks about growing up in Queens, dropping out of high school (and later culinary school), getting fired from his Mets kitchen job for fighting a co-worker, and how breaking his leg while working as a chef — and releasing his career-launching mixtape Dr. Lecter — changed his life.

Bam Bam also his talks about shaving his magnificent beard, his experience on Atlantic Records, his upcoming independent project White Bronco (which is also his DJ name), meeting Magic Johnson and Derek Jeter, and getting a handwritten letter from Robert De Niro (who he appears alongside in the upcoming Scorsese film The Irishman). Music artist and reality tv star/entrepreneur are the cover stars for GQ Magazine‘s new issue. In their cover story, the young love birds open up on the first time they really hung out (went on a “date”), the Kardashian curse, Travis’ rise as an artist, Kylie’s status as a successful mogul, Scott being a romantic and more.

Chance The Rapper has long teased a joint project with his idol Kanye West. Initially, it sounded like the pair were planning to resurrect Good Ass Job, the lost fourth installment in Kanye’s College DropoutLate RegistrationGraduation series. But recently, Chance told Peter Rosenberg that he and Kanye are working on a seven-song project together, in the vein of all the G.O.O.D. Music albums that have dropped this summer.
