Despite his decades-long success, driven by a level of ruthlessness and resourcefulness, Lyor also reflects on the darker moments in his career where even he began questioning his abilities. Thankfully, a rapper by the name of Redman came along.

In a candid and personal conversation with GQ‘s Will Welch, 3 Stacks opens up about his post-OutKast life, from being diagnosed with social anxiety, dealing with the deaths of his mother and father, and always feeling like he was “less than everybody else,” both in OutKast and the rap game as a whole (which is nothing short of a tragedy).

With his new album Beach House 3 out now, Ty Dolla $ign is on a promo run to spread the word. The L.A. musician recently stopped by HOT 97’s Ebro In the Morning for an interview. During the 25-minute conversation, Ty $ spoke on the new album, his already deep discography, being known for collaborating, working with Kanye West on “Real Friends,” Gucci Mane’s “Enormous” being his current favorite collab, and connecting with YG again on “Ex.”

Ty Dolla $ign also revealed plans to drop a short-film soon for the album, keeping his relationship with Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui private, and the importance of live singing. The singer/songwriter/producer also announced his new label The Movement. Artists like 24 Hrs, Joe Moses and TeeCee 400 are the first three artists signed to roster.

2 Chainz headed to New York City on Friday (Oct. 27), appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Sitting down on the late-night show, 2 Chainz introduced the audience to his dog Trappy. The Atlanta rapper also discussed touring with a broken leg, his Most Expensivest Sh*t series with GQ and gave Fallon a blind taste test to see if he can tell the difference between NYC tap water and an expensive bottle of 90H20 made in Beverly Hills.

The artist formerly known would later hit the stage, backed by The Roots to perform his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music single “4 AM” with special guest Travi$ Scott. Watch 2 Chainz and La Flame on Fallon below.

This past summer rumors started circulating online that Hip-Hop’s new favorite couple, Cardi B and Offset, got engaged. The young couple ended up shutting down the false news soon after. Hours after debuting their new song with Cardi B and Nicki Minaj “Motor Sport,” Migos took to the stage at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert on Friday night (Oct. 27). Cardi, who jumped on stage to perform some of her verse, got the surprise of a lifetime when Offset tapped her shoulder and got down on one knee to propose. As the sold-out crowd at Wells Fargo Center screamed, an emotional Cardi accepted Offset’s marriage proposal and huge diamond ring.

Jesus Christ I’m so emotional, @offsetyrn I loveee you so much,” said the “Bodak Yellow” rapper in an Instagram post soon after. “Thank you for seeing the potential in me since you met me .For giving me advice molding me and loving me .Your such a amazing man to me your family ,friends ,kids and you are extremely talented.I can’t wait to spend FOREVAAAA with you .Lets make a lot shmoney and love together ❤️ ❤️.”

She later continued in another showing off her large diamond ring, “I just want to go to sleep and wake up and make sure this ain’t a dream.Thank you God for all these blessings .Thank you babe @offsetyrn God really sent you to me.” Watch the moment below, plus Cardi B’s interview backstage where she discussed the proposal on stage, Offset flying in her mother and family to witness the moment, plans to drop new songs, working on “Motor Sport,” and the hold up with her debut album.
